Love Within The Shine

Estella wasn't sure which stance she would adopt. She was restless after telling Lucius not to be nice to her because she might fall for the young man. She had been turning around on the bed and was unsure of her position. She admitted the truth to him and couldn't have been more careless with what she said.

She wants to escape as soon as possible because she doesn't want her heart to fall for the young man. You'd think that at her previous job, a lot of people tried to flirt with her. But her response was always, 'I don't want to; that's not on my mind yet because my priority is my family.' Gosh! Then she'll fall for someone she shouldn't have because they're so different. A big. NO! Never.

"What brings you here?"

She was anxious and unsure of who was speaking near her room door—whether it was the police or Lucius' manager.

"I'm here because I'm worried about you," says a woman.

She tried to eavesdrop on the conversation through the tiny gap in the door and saw the lady the young man was speaking to. She can't be mistaken; Vanessa is a well-known actress. Lucius was sulking, and she could see the annoyance on his face as he spoke to Vanessa.

"You don't have to worry because I can handle myself," Lucius replied to the woman he was speaking with.

These two had a past or history, according to rumors. Couldn't they have been together before? There is no denying that Vanessa and Lucius are a match made in heaven because Vanessa is stunning and Lucius is attractive.

Vanessa frowned and took Lucius' hand in hers. "I know you're bored here in your condo, so why don't we go out and try to solve your problem?"

Lucius pushed the woman's hand away from her grasp. "Would you please leave, just leave?"

"Why are you like that, Lucius?" She asked. "Is there anything wrong with me?" Vanessa paused for a moment, looking desperate before continuing. "Look at me, Lucius. I'm beautiful, famous, and wealthy; if we're both together, we'll undoubtedly be more successful; I've wanted you for a long time! But why is it so hard for you to love!"

It's like Estella is watching a television show because both the great actor and actress are talking. I don't know why I'm listening, but I must watch it. Why is the young man breaking Vanessa' heart so much? Why did he continue to reject Vanessa's beauty? The thought of the two being a good match caused Estella to feel a strange pain in her chest.

"Vanessa, just leave me alone. I need to rest. Don't waste yourself on me," Lucius said, without showing any emotion on his face.

"Are you interested in another woman? Show her to me so I can tell-"

"Yes, I love another woman," Lucius interrupted Vanessa.

Even Estella was taken aback by what the young man stated.

Perhaps this is why Lucius hasn't been in his condo in a few days and allowed her to sleep there. She is perplexed as to why she does not see him at the condo every night, implying that the young man is sleeping with the woman he is referring to. What she confessed to Lucius was humiliating! He's dating someone! Gosh, Estella!

"Is she more stunning than me?" Vanessa inquired of the young man.

"Yes."

"What?! For your information, no one can compete with my attractiveness!"

"Whatever; leave now."

"I don't want! I want to see her!"

The young man seized his senses, showing his irritation. "Could you please end this fucking conversation, Vanessa?"

"I can't believe there is a woman who can surpass my beauty; bring her to me and we'll figure it out. Is the woman you're talking about non-showbiz or an actress as well?"

"It's none of your concern."

"What are you terrified of, Lucius?"

"Please, Vanessa just leave. Before I get you to the guards, that's even more embarrassing."

"No!"

Vanessa abruptly reached up and grasped the young man's face before kissing him teasingly. Estella could clearly see what had happened, so she stepped inside and, to her astonishment, accidentally bumped the table, causing the air conditioner remote to fall. Vanessa might come into the room where she was, so she hurriedly hid under the bed.

Estella was not mistaken. Vanessa' feet were visible from beneath the bed across from the door.

"Is your woman here, Lucius?" Vanessa scandalized. "Whoever you are, come out so I can see whether you're worth it; otherwise, you're scared of me because I'm more attractive, wealthy, and well-known than you; and above all, Lucius and I are a good match. Come out idiot!”

"Vanessa, please refrain from causing a controversy in my condo, will you?"

"Get your girl out first!"
