Love Is Like The Sound Of A Sad Wind
Chapter 2
It was a new model from Hermes. There was only one in the counter in the west of the city in the whole Seattle and the distribution alone costed millions.
When Stephan came to me to discuss the fake divorce, I saw the packaging box in his office. I thought it was his anniversary gift to me, but I didn't expect that he gave me a divorce that was hard to tell whether it was real or fake. And this bag was for Lilian.
"Natasha, do you know those two people?" The new colleague showed up with a handsome face that made people and gods angry and asked me curiously.
"I don't know them. They came back to get the bag, I took it with me."
I lied and asked him to go out first.
When I picked up the bag, a silver key fell out. When I bent down, the things in the bag scattered all over the floor. All kinds of things were scattered there and the strong visual impact almost made me unable to stand.
Various images collided in my mind. I couldn't help it anymore. I squatted down and cried. The CBD incident was a big deal and the videos on the Internet became popular one after another.
Sitting in the taxi on the way home, I kept watching related videos and Stephan appeared in every video. In the corners of the video, there were Stephan I had never seen before. In various poses and angles, they hugged each other so tightly. I felt sick from watching it.
The moment I got off the car, I vomited it all out. The pain in my stomach was so intense that I could hardly stand up straight.
I walked to the door with the help of the wall.
But I heard Lilian's bright and cheerful voice, "You bring me home now, aren't you afraid that your wife will find out?"
Stephan laughed softly a few times and hugged Lilian, "She is on a business trip!"
Lilian raised her legs and straddled the man's waist, "I want to do it in your wedding room."
"Little devil!" Stephan slapped her on the butt, which was loud and harsh in the empty living room.
The door handle I held was as cold as ice.
Standing outside the door, I just felt that Stephan was dirty to the core. It was the kind of dirt that could never be washed away. But what made me even more sad was that compared to Stephan, I was the one who made the mistake and fled. I even wished from the bottom of my heart that I had never seen it all.
I took out the divorce agreement from my bag, flipping through it while thinking about the eight years between Stephan and me. My tears seemed to be unable to flow away. I held the divorce agreement in my hand and those black and white words were like sharp arrows piercing my eyes. It hurt, but it made me sober.
So he wanted to divorce me for Lilian? I couldn't help laughing, feeling that Stephan was so scheming.
The letter from the unit was sent back to my mobile phone and the date on it was to leave for Tibet three days later. There were constant messages in the group, all saying that they would practice for me.
After I replied one by one, I lay in bed and didn't sleep all night.
In the silent night, I tossed and turned and finally decided to find someone to investigate Stephan. Within a few minutes, I got the information about his asset transfer. Looking at the stack of information in my hand, I suddenly laughed. Laughing at myself for being so stupid these years.
When I got home the next day, Stephan was waiting for me as expected.
After a few words of routine concern, he pulled me to sit on the sofa. The divorce agreement was still on the coffee table.
"Wife, I'm really doing this for your own good. Be obedient, I can't let my debts drag you down, maybe it will drag down your job promotion in the future. As long as I can get through this crisis, we can get remarried." Stephan looked into my eyes and his words were full of love and cherishment for me.
