Chapter 6

The other young men felt bored and hurriedly ended the banquet.

The manager bowed and smiled as he saw the young masters off, not forgetting to glare at me.

I walked up to Philip.

"Thank you, Mr. Hayes, for helping me out. Please keep this a secret for me, though it may not be much of a secret."

Philip nodded, looked into the distance, and sighed.

"Are you hiding here? Do you need my help?"

"No, thank you. I'm doing fine." Philip probably misunderstood. He didn't want to give me money but was asking if I would be in trouble if I were found.

I felt that the Turner family had already given up on me.

A few days later, the young masters returned to Capaville, and I was safe. I felt completely relieved.

The ski resort owner didn't care about anyone's status.

He thought that I had offended those rich kids. So, he began to make things difficult for me every day.

One day, the boss announced that the ski resort would be temporarily closed tomorrow because a big shot from Capaville was coming.

I felt uneasy, so I quickly asked to leave and hid at home.

When I woke up in the morning, I had a gut feeling that something big was coming. I wanted to pack my bags and go back to town for a few days.

Before I could pack, my boss called and asked me to return to entertain the guests.

I thought I couldn't escape it was a bad thing, so I went ahead.

When I arrived at the hotel, the boss took me directly to the suite. Seeing the bodyguards at the door, I felt like crying.

I turned around, pretending to be casual, but before I could start running, I was picked up and taken into the suite.

My boss looked at my expression, thinking I had made a mistake, and wanted to distance himself from me. I was carried out before I could say a word.

The person opposite turned around.

After two years, he still looked so handsome.

He exuded an intimidating aura, silent and clearly unhappy.

He never liked to smile, and now, his face looked as cold as ice.

I trembled as I greeted him, "Hello, Mr. Turner."
