Chapter 4

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

Suddenly, countless fireworks bloomed in the night sky, lighting up and blooming in the night with colorful postures. The three of us stood together, Adam and Kelly were tightly holding each other. No matter how you look at them, they looked like a couple.

I looked at the fireworks, but this scene hurt my eyes deeply. When the fireworks bloomed, they were engraved with Kelly's name, not my name, Helena. It went without saying who this birthday party and fireworks rain were for.

Suddenly, Adam asked the nanny to take care of me and he had to leave for something important.

"Helena, you wait for me to come back." She kissed me on the forehead and left with Kelly impatiently.

Looking at their backs as they left one after another, I followed them.

Finally, my sight stopped at the door entrance, where Kelly sat on Adam and kissed him passionately. Adam turned around and brought Kelly under him.

"Fortunately, Helena couldn't see it. You actually put your name on the fireworks. Don't mess around in the future."

"What are you afraid of? She can't see it."

Kelly tore his clothes and spoke. The breathing of the two became heavier and heavier and then it was out of control. I took out my phone with trembling hands, pointed it at them and pressed the record button. I recorded them for as long as they were entangled in there.

Finally, Kelly was tired and she fell asleep on Adam. But Adam didn't stop yet, grabbing her and moving again. I couldn't listen anymore and turned away in embarrassment.

I ran all the way home and didn't dare to stay any longer. Until I got home, I finally let go of Adam with a dead heart. I took off my wedding ring and threw it into the trash can.

I turned back to the room, found all the things that belonged to me and Adam, took them to the garden, dug a big hole and threw them in, then lit a fire and burned them all to ashes. I watched the flames devour our memories coldly. Adam, we have no future.

I just returned to the room when Adam rushed back like crazy, sweating profusely. He was relieved when he saw me.

"Helena, why did you run home alone? How dangerous! You scared me to death."

Adam spoke with fear.

I smiled, "You left for too long, I was scared! So let the nanny take me back first."

Adam then hugged me guiltily, "Sorry, it's all my fault."

Next, I didn't say anything and Adam didn't leave. He stayed with me all the time. We spent a few days quietly. Until the seventh day, Adam accompanied me for a walk, but received a call in the middle. He wanted to leave in a hurry on the grounds of overtime.

I kept him, took out a document and turned to the signature page for him.

"I have a document that needs your signature, I can't see it."

Adam signed without thinking because he was in a hurry to see Kelly.

"What documents? Do you want to buy a car or a house?" He asked me while giving me a card, asking me to buy it myself and then left quickly. I didn't even have time to say goodbye to him properly and he didn't know that he would sign a divorce agreement. Anyway, he didn't need it at all.

I took off my sunglasses and looked at Adam's back as he left, "Adam, goodbye."

I went home and put the divorce agreement and the video recorded on my phone on the coffee table. Finally, I took a deep look at this house, picked up the gift box and left without looking back.

Adam went straight to the hospital. Kelly called him and said that she was injured. When Adam arrived, he realized that she had been deceived by her again. It was just a minor cold.

Adam glared at Kelly in dissatisfaction, "Don't be so childish in the future."

Just as he turned around, the director who cured my eyes saw Adam and said worriedly, "Mr. Griffin, is it possible that Helena's eyes have problems again?"

Adam looked at him in confusion, not knowing what he meant. "What do you mean again?"

"We worked together to cure Helena's eyes seven days ago. She can see now. At that time, she was so happy that she ran away and said she would bring the good news home to tell you in person."
