Let's Play Your Games, Dr. Hudson Chapter 1
Abhaya gets sidetracked while trying to fix her brow, which always crossed the line. She'll never be able to let go of the man who gave her life purpose. Her eyes began to well up with tears, but she managed to stop them from rolling down her cheeks. She'll need to be brave. In the bet that Hudson Herrence Hayes would play, her heart was on the line.
She could tell she hadn't slept enough because of her puffy eye bags. She gave a glum smile, but suddenly her smile turned to tears. Shit! I’m not going to cry. I am not going to cry. Hudson is to blame for everything. Why did she end up with him in the first place?
She failed to recognize that she was being manipulated in the midst of her enjoyment of the game she was playing. As if nothing had happened, she walked out of the restroom. Her face was lit up with a broad smile. She put on the mask once more to make herself believe that everything is okay right now.
"Are you all right?"
When was the last time she was fine? She doesn't know. She nodded. "I'm sorry for taking so long; let's go?" She put her hand on his arm right away, but he quickly yanked it away. Her heart ached, but she pretended nothing had happened.
"I despise public displays, Abhaya." He spoke flatly.
She flashed a lovely smile. She pretended that the pain wasn't actually there, that it was all in her head. Why had she forgotten how much Hudson despised public displays? Oh yeah. Screw me.
"Please don't text or call me. If you have anything to say, please leave a message and I'll get back to you." He then drove her to her apartment.
Hudson Herrence Hayes is a well-known doctor for his good looks and intelligence. He's also a skilled Mechatronical Engineer, and a dealer of high-end car spare parts worldwide. In short, he's a billionaire. She couldn't imagine how it could handle everything all the time. Being both a doctor and a businessman.

DESPITE the fact that Hudson had already left, she remained in the doorway, her gaze following Hudson's car as it drove away. She slouched down on the couch and groggily grabbed her phone. She was momentarily taken aback when she saw something on Twitter.
‘Doc Herrence Hayes has a girlfriend who is a beauty queen.’
She turned off the phone and stared blankly at the ceiling. She was aware of Hudson's public image as a playboy and girl magnet. Nothing new. She became one of the women who became fools after Hudson approached her. She was one of the women who became fools after Hudson approached her. She's beautiful, attractive, and a bad liar. She used to make fun of men by playing hearts with them, but that is no longer the case. She had no idea she had dozed off while thinking about Hudson. . .
"Stop playing hearts, Kienie. You don't understand karma, and when it bites you, I'm sure you'll be sorry. Karma is digital."
The advice from her not-so-friend and coworker made her roll her eyes. She doesn't mess around with hearts or hurt anyone.
"Whoa! Please don't accuse me of trampling on anyone's hearts." She cried out in amazement. "What kind of karma are you talking about? If it's digital, it might be a camera, eh?"
"God, Abhaya Kienne Sahada! Who exactly is this Arthur, and who is this man, Zack? You're killing two birds with one stone, Beshy."
She doesn't give a damn. All she did was shrug her shoulders. Thank goodness it is lunchtime because she is starving! Is it her fault that she was born with beauty and that a lot of people wanted to be her? No.
"Hey, I'm not through yet!"
"If you're not hungry, that's okay! Because me? I’m going, bye!"
She said something that left Freia stunned, but all she did was laugh. What is it about her that makes her so appealing? The idea made her laugh nonstop. She’s pretty, yeah! She should be grateful for the genes bestowed on her by her parents.
As she rushed down the elevator, her cell phone rang. She was in such a hurry that she didn't notice she had boarded the private elevator.
"No. I'm not coming, sorry cousin." Abhagay sighs and rolls her eyes as she answers the call. Her cheeky cousin invited her to a well-known Makati hangout.
Three men in suits walked in, but she didn't seem to care. She didn't raise an eye to see who they were. She was engrossed in a conversation with her cousin.
"No!" She yells in frustration.
Behind her, the three men who were talking stopped their conversation. She's pacing a lot right now and hadn't realized she was in an elevator with another person. "Hold on a second! You are treating me unfairly. It's not right. That is not something I want to do. What?!"
The elevator stopped at the ground floor as she was still protesting and ranting on the phone. She was all set to go but was shocked to find that she didn't have any cash or a wallet with her. All she had was her phone. God! She must go back and grab her wallet from the 25th floor. She immediately went back inside the elevator just to bump someone. Argh!
"Damn!"
She could hear the person's voice becoming irritated. Hmp! She smirked and raised her head, leaving whatever she was going to say hanging in the air. It's Doctor Hayes who's standing in front of her. He is dressed in a tie-and-black suit. Oh my God! This man is oozing with sex appeal! Her heart was racing like crazy!
"Excuse us," a baritone voice said from behind Doctor Hayes.
It drew Abhaya's attention. Shit! She wants the rest of the world to forget about her. Behind Dr. Hayes, she noticed Mr. Azael Aadi Legrand and Mr. Cuhen Malcogn. The company's owners, for which she works! Why on earth did she encounter such terrible luck today. There is such a thing as karma. Argh! When she realized the elevator, she had just gotten into was a private elevator, she wanted to scream. It is forbidden for employees like her to do this.
She turned and ran away in shame. She looked like the athlete of the year even though she was only wearing a fitted uniform and 4-inch heels. It was amazing how quickly she ran. They should not remember her. God! She doesn't want to lose her job, and she has no intentions of looking for another job this year. Oh my god, sh*t!
When the doorbell rang several times, Abhaya was startled awake. Her gaze was pulled to the wall clock beside the door, which indicated that it was already 8:00 p.m. She must have slept for more than four hours. She jumped to her feet and rushed to the door.
"You never answer my text or call, Abhaya," Hudson remarked angrily, and she knew he didn't want his texts or calls to go unanswered.
"I'm sorry, I fell asleep," she said as she opened the door for him. But all he did was stand there and stare at her, perhaps thinking about what she had said.
"We're going somewhere," he said as he walked to the car parked in front of her apartment with no emotions on his face.
What else could she do as his slave but nod? Hudson gets what he wants, and she realizes how dumb she is about him. She's the 'Fool of the Year.
When she got into his car, she was dressed simply in pants and a simple blouse, and Hudson was staring at his laptop, clearly focused on what he was doing.'
It immediately grimaced when it turned to face her, and he looked at what she was wearing.
"Is something wrong?"
"You need to change your clothes. Wear something appropriate. We're running late, and Cuhen is throwing a surprise birthday party for his wife." He commented as he looked at his watch. He immediately switched his focus back to his laptop, "Fix it right away. I'm going to set aside 20 minutes for you."
She sighed quietly and hurriedly went inside, putting on a simple dress and a little make-up to conceal the pain she was feeling right now. She was back in less than 20 minutes. Hudson only looked at her before starting the car and didn't say anything, and when she checked her phone, Hudson made 2 calls and only texted her once. Tsk!
Ellah, the wife of Mr. Cuhen Malcogn, was the first person she saw when they arrived at the party. Although she'd seen her on television, she didn't believe that she was this sweet and gentle in person, and she tried to hold back her tears by biting her lip. When was the last time she was entirely honest with herself? She couldn't remember when it was.
Ellah is somewhat five months pregnant, and she was overjoyed when she saw how much her boss, Cuhen Malcogn, loved his wife, and she assumed Hudson would be the same for her.
"You seem so sad."
She was surprised when Ellah came up to her. She was just on one side, and Hudson briefly left her to talk to his friends. Ellah smiled at her, and she could see the love in her eyes for her husband.
"I'm alright." she said with a smile.
She glanced at her and reached out her hand. "You should know that I am suffering from that pain as well. I see myself in 'you,' but all I can say is that if you have a reason to keep going, do so. One day, all of your pain will be paid for."
She doesn’t think so. She looked up and smiled sweetly at her once more. Abhaya has one more thing to hold onto, and maybe what Vraiellah said will come true. She was just standing in a corner until she made the decision to go. She didn't want to say goodbye to Ellah; she just wanted to leave the party as soon as possible. Although the celebration was still going on, Hudson was concentrating entirely on his friend, and she noticed that they were solely talking business.
Despite being two and a half months pregnant and having no visible signs of it on her body, she was unable to inform Hudson that she was expecting and carrying their child. She lost track of how frequently they engaged in sexual activity. As long as Hudson needed her in bed and where he wanted her, she couldn't disobey or say no.
Her mind was blank; she was hovering and unable to grasp herself. She had no idea where she was heading until she discovered she was in the sea. As she walked towards the sand and felt the cold air on her face, she smiled bitterly. There are many stars in the sky, and Hudson's favorite is to sit on the sand and gaze at them. It was only now that she realized her tears were dripping. One... Two... up until she began sobbing quietly.
She spent two hours by the seaside before choosing to take a taxi home. She turned off her phone and walked into her apartment like a corpse. She is grateful Hudson wasn't there, or else she’ll be dead. She was so worn out that she fell asleep. She requires it for the child, who relies on her for strength.
That evening seemed absurd because Hudson appeared in her dream…
Her heart almost burst open, and she still can't believe she beheld the three sexiest Greek gods.
'I can't believe I'm seeing Doc Hayes so close, and Oh, my! He's stunningly handsome!’
Given that she had a clear view of him and was face-to-face with him, she must be the most fortunate woman of them all. God! She can't move on. Her heart was racing, something she didn't like. Argh!
That night, she gave in to her cousin's wishes and went to an expensive pub with her cheeky cousin to forget her embarrassment from the day before. She won't spend a penny on the drinks, which are being paid for by her cousin. Because she wasn't much of a partygoer and needed a sedative, she drank a Bloody Mary.
But when she saw four men who had descended from the heavens enter the bar, she gasped. One of the four guys who had just entered the pub was Doc Hayes, whom she even recognized. Before bidding her cousin farewell, she had a couple drinks. She insisted despite her cousin's objections. She didn't want to hang out with the man who had caught her attention in that bar.
When she felt herself being pulled to the dance floor from where she was standing at the door, she couldn't see the person tugging at her and couldn't hear herself think since the music was playing so loudly. She wanted to break free of the stranger's hold so badly, but it was impossible.
"Let me go." She retorted angrily.
"Let's have some fun, or would you prefer we play something fun in private?" The man said, grinning like a puppy, "Stop acting like you're a virgin."
Her hand twitched, and she was about to slap the unpleasant stranger when someone grabbed her arm and stopped her. Hudson grabbed her, and she ended up on his chest. When she looked up, Hudson's attractive face caught her attention, and she was able to calm her racing thoughts. She snatched her arm as soon as the alcohol's influence subsided, but he grasped it tight.
"I've got you."
She was speechless. "Huh? W-what are you doing?!"
He carried her somewhere and, instead of answering her question, leaned her up against the hard wall. She was no longer affected by the alcohol. Suddenly, everything around her slowed down, and her heartbeat became incredibly brisk. Because of the man in front of her, she feels as if the light had been turned off and the ambient bustle had gone quiet. She kept staring at Hudson, as if she'd been hypnotized for reasons she couldn't fathom. Someone slap her, please!
She exclaimed as Hudson touched her cheek and her body reacted. Instead of protesting, she appeared to be enjoying what was happening. She looked into his eyes, but all she saw was desire. No! She's starting to get horny, and that's what she's terrified of!
She shoved his chest quickly in an attempt to get away from him, but he simply grabbed her by the two hands and pinned her against the wall. What, no! He locked his stare on her, and she wasn't a fool for not being aware of his hunger for her.
