Impostor Sister Weds into a Rich Family
Chapter 5
"So that's what you're busy with."
After I brushed him off a few times, Harry personally came to find me.
Squatting in a corner, he eavesdropped on a few disgruntled front desk employees talking.
With a wave of his hand, he was ready to write me a check.
"Why learn anything else when you can learn to be a president!"
If the name is not correct, the words will not ring true.
I wanted money from anyone.
But I couldn't take his money.
"What do you mean learn? Bro, I'm the real bossy president."
Look at him.
His appearance still exuded that student vibe, carefree and without any proper shape. Apart from a slightly more defined face from his puppy fat, he was no different from before he went to study abroad.
It turned out that his father spent 10 million on his tuition in vain.
But my dad treated him like he had encountered a savior, tears of gratitude in his eyes as he welcomed him into the office.
He immediately drafted a contract, about to transfer forty-nine percent of the shares.
"Dad, have you thought about it? If we sign this contract, the Zack Group might belong to the Carl Group in the future."
My dad looked at me and then at Harry.
He sighed as if resigned to his fate, "Anyway, sooner or later, we'll have to be owned by the Carl Group."
With that, he signed her name in one go.
"Oh no, the check is missing."
The contract was all signed, but Harry actually backed out!
I was so scared that I snatched the contract from his hand.
After not seeing each other for a few years, who knows if he had picked up any bad habits.
"Boss, look at you, so wary of me, like I'm a thief."
Harry pouted in injured pride and quickly took out his phone from his pocket.
"It should be in the car. Wait here, I'll have someone bring it up."
After making the call, it didn't take three minutes before a well-dressed man pushed open the door and walked in.
He lowered his head, only looking at the ground, making it difficult to see his features clearly.
But I still recognized him in an instant.
He was the man who pretended to be Harry and hung out with Shealy.
It's just that before, he had the air of a disdainful rich young master.
And now, he appeared so humble, almost pitiful.
There were only a few of us in the room, and it didn't take long for him to notice me.
He seemed completely unprepared for my presence, and after a surprised wide-eyed look, a hint of annoyance appeared on his face as if he wanted to disappear instantly.
Seeing that I was still staring at him intently, he quickly lowered his head even more.
"Here, check."
I was stunned and didn't take it.
Harry noticed something was off and followed my gaze, realizing what I was looking at.
He snorted and introduced him to me.
"He's Justin, the new driver my dad assigned to me."
Oh.
A driver?
Justin found a random excuse and quickly fled.
Seeing me in a daze, staring at his back, Harry, feeling like a doormat, pouted and complained.
"What's going on? Why are they all like they've been bewitched?"
Huh?
What did he mean?
I turned to look at him, but he stopped talking.
He just said in a sarcastic tone.
"It doesn't matter. Anyway, I'm a professional at dispelling strange phenomena. It's just to wash another pair of eyes and stuff."
Then he gave me a disdainful look.
So confident.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
I elbowed him in the chest, and he yelled out in pain, breaking the aura.
I really gave him face, but he's addicted to talking big!
Without figuring out the situation, he was blabbering about something!
"Let me tell you, things are different now. I've made it big, so you can't treat me casually like before!"
