Chapter 1

After returning from a business trip, I found a used wrapping paper on my bedside table.

Strange, I haven't bought anything recently.

My girlfriend and I haven't used this thing for a long time.

***

I looked at the packaging in front of me and fell into contemplation.

I have been on a business trip recently and haven't bought this thing for a long time.

Obviously, it's not something I used.

But what does it mean to appear on my bedside table at home?

It meant that my girlfriend used it with someone else at my place.

She cheated on me!

I calmed down and dared not think about it further.

I was supposed to come back tomorrow night, but I came back early.

I didn't tell my girlfriend that I'm already home.

I checked our room.

My slippers were obviously worn by someone else, and there were traces of someone touching my facial cleanser and razor in the bathroom.

[Honey, what time will you come back tomorrow?]

At this moment, my phone rang.

It was a message from my girlfriend, Patricia Anne. I thought I shouldn't alert her, and I didn't have definitive evidence to prove that she was cheating.

I replied, [Seven o'clock in the evening.]

[Sure.]

There was no further communication. It seemed like she didn't care if I was tired from the business trip or if she needed to pick me up when I returned.

She only cared about what time I would go back.

I wouldn't have thought anything was unusual before, but I can't be sure now.

Once the seed of doubt was planted, it would grow wildly.

But it was not the time for impulsiveness. Since I was brought back early to see all this, it was meant to make me see through someone clearly.

I placed a hidden camera in the bedroom, aimed at the bed, connected to my phone.

I went out and found a hotel, pretending that I didn't come back tonight.
