Chapter 1

When we were most in love, Lucas Wentworth built a 100-meter-high tower for me in the city center.

There was a woman who wanted to get close to him, and in order to show his loyalty to me, he tied her to the top of the tower and tortured her on purpose.

He spoiled me into the most beautiful flower in Metropolis City, so much so that countless couples from all over the world come to the tower every day to wish to never be separated.

But suddenly one day, the tower was demolished and replaced with a Fairytale Theme Park.

I went forward to question him like crazy, but at the entrance of the amusement park, I saw Lucas sweating and pressing the woman who had been tied to the top of the tower with disdain by him.

"I pursued Sophie just because of the novelty and the face that matched my ideal type. It's ridiculous that she thought I really loved her."

He looked at Ivy Young almost obsessively.

"Ivy is younger and prettier. So what if I spoil her like a fairytale princess?"

I stood in the ruins of the tower, seeing nothing but desolation.

It turns out that this lady of leisure that made a global sensation was just a game of the rich president and my wishful thinking.

In this case...

I dialed the number that had been forgotten for many years with a broken heart.

"I lost the bet we made ten years ago. I will marry you in seven days."

……

When I got home, I was soaked by the rain.

A tattered umbrella lay quietly on the sofa.

Twelve years ago, Lucas was abroad. When he heard that I was trapped at the foot of the mountain due to heavy rain, he ignored the project worth tens of billions and flew back directly in a helicopter.

Just to hold an umbrella for me.

But now, just two hours ago, he ordered me to walk back to The Wentworth Estate from the playground step by step in the heavy rain.

Just because I made the little girl in his heart cry.

Wiping my hair in a panic, I sarcastically threw the umbrella that I had treasured until now into the trash can.

When I looked up, all I saw were the gifts Lucas gave me.

The whole room is covered with plush carpets, the walls are covered with photos of the couple, and countless couple-style daily necessities...

Even the pajamas I'm wearing were given to me by him.

He said that he liked to possess all of me and make me his from inside out.

But when he really broke into my life forcefully, he abandoned me without hesitation.

I gave all the preferences that once belonged to me to others!

My face turned pale as I looked at the cold food on the table. I couldn't help but call Lucas.

"Today is our tenth anniversary, you..."

"I'm not going home tonight. After all, I finally managed to coax the little girl into submission. I have to take her to buy a villa as a comfort."

"There's a check for one billion dollars on the bedside table. It's your tenth anniversary gift."

The phone was hung up with a click, and when I called again, I found that I had been blocked.

His impatience was so obvious.

I smiled bitterly.

Lucas used to be so clean that he didn’t even have a single female subordinate around him.

In order to show their loyalty to me, he tied up all the women who tried to get close to him on the top of Sophie's Spire by thunderous means.

At the beginning, Ivy was just one of these women.

At that time, Ivy was almost naked and lying on his desk, but he still just said indifferently,

"Send her to the top of the tower."

But since when, he mentioned Ivy more and more often, and his expression became more gentle.

I felt uneasy and had hysterical arguments with him countless times.

At the beginning, in order to please me, he was even willing to kneel down in front of me in front of everyone for three days and three nights.

But later, he was able to bring Ivy home without changing his expression!
