Hide Your Love For Me Chapter 1
When I received my graduate school acceptance letter, I shared the news with Easton.
He was very excited and wanted to hold a celebration party for me, talking about the list of invitees while planning the banquet.
As everyone around me knew, Easton, the charismatic and affluent young boy, had harbored feelings for me since high school, and his affection had endured for seven years.
However, what only I was aware of was that he had grown tired of it long ago.

After I sent him a photo of the acceptance letter, a flurry of messages from him ensued.
"Congratulations!"
"Gianna, you are awesome."
"You've worked so hard this year."
I responded curtly with "You too" before packing up my belongings.
Meanwhile, Easton began sending this news and invitations in all group chats, proclaiming, "Gianna has been admitted to Falatte University as a graduate student. Tonight, I'm treating you to dinner at Rivergate. Everyone must come!"
My classmates showered me with blessings, and my phone was flooded with notifications.
"Congratulations!"
"I'll definitely be there!"
"I envy you two for being together for so long!"
"So sweet. I wish you two a lifetime together."
"When can I have a man like Easton!"
"Keep dreaming."
While everyone was congratulatory, they were also envious of our love.
"Easton used to be a gangster, but he turned over a new leaf because of Gianna."
"Who hasn't heard of Easton's legend of failing all his subjects, but becoming a changed man after meeting Gianna?"
"Wow, really? I don't believe it unless you show me evidence."
Evidence? He was a party animal, like smoking, drinking, racing, and fighting. He'd jump around like a monkey every day.
But after we met, he transformed.
I told him I didn't like loafers, and he started frequenting the library, participating in activities, and even topped his semester test.
I told him I didn't like playboys, and he quit smoking, drinking, and distancing himself from bad influences.
I told him I didn't like people who are high-profile, and he started wearing cheap clothes and deleted the photos he posted on social media.
These were the things he once loved the most and made him happiest, but he gave them up for me.
My roommate, who belonged to a wealthy family, ruined my graduation project.
My major was fashion design, and my computer was full of my data, but she smashed it all out of anger.
I cried so hard that I couldn't breathe.
But when she calmed down, she offered to replace it with a more expensive one, trying to make amends.
When Easton found out, he rushed to comfort me. From then on, my roommate lost her arrogance.
I later discovered that the Scott family snatched her family several projects away, leading her family's business short of funds and on the brink of bankruptcy, and was eventually acquired by the Scott family.
Easton and his father had a bad relationship since childhood, and he had never asked his father for help.
But for my sake, Easton willingly apologized to his father.
This was once the last thing he wanted to do.
The people around me realized how much he cared for me.
Maybe everyone noticed how special I was to him when he wanted to attend the same university as me.
Compared to his previous girlfriends, he was serious about me. I was the one for him.
It's just that people don't want to believe it.
