For me, who was an orphan, having a family was something I had always dreamed of.

“Mr. Howard said that you have experience in giving birth, so he asked you to show up within ten seconds and massage Miss Wilkerson's feet.”

I frowned and looked out the window. I did not know when it started to drizzle.

After giving birth and breastfeeding Shaun, I had lost a lot of calcium in my body, so I had difficulty running. 

If the weather is cold, all my bones would hurt so much, so I always locked myself up when it rained outside. 

But that time, Shaun just told me to go to his place quickly?

The butler smiled and waved the whip in his hand as he ordered, “Mr. Howard said that if Mrs. Howard is even a second slower, I will give you a beating. You better hold on tight."

By the time I limped to the pond in the back garden, my back was covered in blood and a long trail of blood was winding behind me.

Shaun hugged Kathryn and lay on the chaise lounge. A huge umbrella covered them. Afraid that Kathryn would be cold, he even asked someone to turn on the heater.

Seeing me soaking wet and covered in blood, he paused for a moment, then said in disgust, “You really did everything you could to act. The person who suffers here is obviously Kathryn. Why are you pretending to be pitiful?

I knelt down despite the pain in my knees and back. As soon as my hands touched Kathryn's feet, she exclaimed, “It's so cold! Mrs. Howard, even if you don't want to give me a massage, there's no need to hurt me on purpose, right? Pregnant women are very afraid of catching a cold."

Shaun was so anxious that he kicked me in the chest and I fell into the mud.

Shaun picked up his Princess Kathryn and left in a hurry without even looking at me.
