Chapter 7

"You and Simona have been roommates for a semester. Why don't you trust her and instead believe that video of Laura?"

When I returned to the dormitory, I happened to see Vivien, who came to the dormitory to find me. She was arguing with my roommate.

I walked up to her and held her hand. "Okay, don't waste your time talking to them. I have something to tell you."

"Don't you think about how good Simona was to you before?"

Vivien was still talking when I quickly pulled her out of the dormitory.

I took her to the corner at the end of the corridor and told her everything that happened during the midnight snack.

Vivien was even angrier than me, the person involved, and punched the wall hard.

"Jordan is such a jerk! All these are because of him!"

After venting her anger, she couldn't stop laughing. Her expression changed in an instant.

"Simona, you are so mean. You deliberately let Marco know about this."

I smiled, "Of course. Now, I need to think carefully about how to clarify everything."

Vivien and I discussed it for a long time. After returning to the dormitory, I wrote a clarification letter on my bed, including everything that had happened since Laura kicked me out of the group chat.

I finally finished writing it at midnight. I had insomnia the day before and was exhausted from shopping during the day. I fell asleep right after posting the clarification video.

I had no classes the next day, so I slept in. I woke up and turned on my phone to find that clarification video had over one hundred thousand views.

The comments section was divided into two camps. It was clear that there were still quite a few people who didn't believe me.

[Really? There is actually a reversal?!]

[I have never criticized the young lady, which beats 99% of netizens.]

[She said these. Is there any evidence? Why should we believe her without evidence?]

It was easy to show evidence. My phone camera was full of evidence. But at the moment I was hungry and just wanted to ask Vivien to go to the canteen for dinner.

After a quick wash, I went to the cafeteria with Vivien from the next dormitory with a bare face.

I didn’t know if it was an illusion. I felt my classmates were talking about me all the way.

"Simona, the person you least want to see is here." Vivien pulled my sleeve.

I looked in the direction she pointed and saw that Laura and Jordan were sitting face to face eating.

The two seemed to have some dispute. Jordan threw his fork angrily, and Laura rubbed her eyes in grievance.

"What happened?" Vivien enjoyed watching the fun.

"They just had a quarrel. Let it go." I was mean.

Not wanting to get involved in their business, I pulled Vivien and found a seat far away from them to eat.

A bright light flashed before my eyes, and an unremarkable girl took a picture of me with her cell phone.

"Oh, you must be the heroine in Laura's video. Look how different you are from the photo you posted. It's amazing!"

After saying that, she walked away.

I finished my food with a confused look on my face, having no idea what was going on with that person.

After a long time, Vivien was the first to react. "That person is crazy. Why don't you scold her?"

"I didn't expect that..." I muttered.

"Well, your face without makeup is going to be exposed." Vivien held her forehead.

"It's okay. I don't care!" I patted my chest.

"I care. She just took a picture of you and included me in it!"

Vivien rolled her eyes.

Well...

After eating, we both took out our phones to watch videos, and unexpectedly, we saw that the video of Laura being punished by standing was popular again, which was posted by someone unknown.

Judging from the video angle, the person shooting the video seemed to be the girl sitting in the front.

"Who is this? What's wrong with him?"

Vivien angrily clicked on that person’s homepage, and the latest video turned out to be a photo of me without makeup!

I was showered with abuse.

[This woman clarified, but she didn't produce any evidence. She also said that her boyfriend had sent Laura to the hotel and they had stayed together for the whole night!]

[That's right. As a girl, it's awful to make up dirty rumors about other girls!]

[She looks really pretty in the photos she posted. I didn’t expect her face to be so ordinary. She should open a class to teach how to put on makeup! ]

[Do you dare to learn what she teaches? She is such a person...]

[The video of the punishment was released. This woman should also produce some evidence!]

"What should I do?" Vivien was even more anxious than me and was flipping through the comments a little frantically.

I was not panicked. After all, I was the one who kept evidence. Laura and the others would be surprised that I kept evidence.

At this time, my private messages were met with overwhelming insults. And there were even sexual harassment messages from boys from the university.

I sneered, thinking that I had to break into this internet circle.
