Chapter 1

I was the princess sent over by the Werewolf Kingdom for an arranged marriage. I was also meant to be the blood bag of Count Dracula.

In my past life, I helped him rule the Bloodsucking Empire. I willingly allowed him to drain my werewolf blood and even risked a dangerous pregnancy by having a baby of mixed bloodline.

However, all Dracula did was watch his frail childhood crush dig out the baby from my body to save her life.

It was only before I died that I realized he had never loved me. All I was to him was a mobile blood bank.

When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the Blood Moon Party when I was five months pregnant. Dracula raised the knife with silver blade in his hand. "Be good. All I need is some blood to save Anna."

This time, I did not fight back as I did in my previous life. Dracula mistook it for obedience.

He had no idea that the Werewolf Princess who had once loved him with her life had become mates with the highly aggressive Alpha King of the Werewolf Kingdom.

"Give me your hand, Emily." No one ever disobeyed Dracula's orders.

Inside the dimly lit hall, I was forced into a corner. I was five months pregnant. "Anna's old wounds are working up. I need your werewolf blood as you're the Werewolf Princess. You won't die by giving a little blood."

Memories of my past life flooded my mind as I watched that blade. It was the very same blade, and this was the same place. In my past life, I cried as I begged him. I made a fuss and fought back to escape, but in the midst of it, I 'accidentally' hurt Anna Bordeaux, who rushed into the hall.

The maid immediately gave a fake statement. "I saw everything. The countess did it! The countess hurt Ms. Bordeaux with that blade!"

I tried to explain to Dracula and told him that Anna stabbed herself in the abdomen on purpose to frame me, but he did not believe me. He said I was cruel, and in his rage, he locked me up in captivity.

That continued until the day Anna cut out the baby from my stomach. My baby was used as a medicinal ingredient to strengthen her powers.

I was reborn, and the same situation was repeating itself. I looked at the calendar and saw that I had three days. It would be the Great Glare in three days. The sun would be at its strongest at noontime, and a vampire would be at his weakest. It was my only chance of destroying the Blood Bond. All I needed to do was hold on for three days, and I could escape with my child.

"What's wrong? Are you not willing to do it?" Dracula frowned when he saw me standing still. "Anna got sick because she tried to save you back then. How long are you going to act in such an ungrateful manner?"

Save me? I sneered silently. Only someone as stupid as he would believe Anna's second-rate scheming, but I had to pretend to play along with it.

This time, I did not make a fuss but pulled my sleeve obediently. "Why would I be unwilling, my dear Count?" I smiled sarcastically. "You've told me yourself that I'm just a mobile blood bank. If my savior wants a drink, she can have it."

I reached out my wrist. "Go ahead. You shouldn't let your beloved's sickness prolong. A blood slave like me won't be able to suffer the consequences if anything happens to her."

Dracula was taken aback. He found my words unpleasant, and he frowned while looking at me questioningly. He seemed to think that I had some sort of trick up my sleeve. "Would it kill you to speak nicely to me?"

He raised the blade, feeling slightly frustrated. As the tip of the blade was about to pierce into my skin, Anna suddenly grabbed his hand. "Wait, Dracula."

She looked at me timidly as if concerned about my well-being. "Look at Emily's hands. She's trembling. She must be afraid of the pain." She turned to look at me, voicing her suggestion, "Why don't I bite you directly? It won't hurt as much."

Her suggestion caused a commotion around us. Allowing a vampire to suck the blood of a werewolf directly meant that the werewolf was being treated as a domestic pet. It was blatant humiliation.

I stared at Anna and caught the taunting look that flashed in her eyes. She was trying to push me to the brink of madness, just like how she did in my past life.

Dracula frowned. I thought he was being thoughtful on my behalf, but all he said was, "A werewolf's blood can cause one to go berserk. Are you sure you can withstand drinking it like that?"

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm willing to bear the brunt of it so that Emily doesn't suffer the pain of the blade." Anna nuzzled him coyly. "I'll only drink a little from her."

Dracula was visibly moved by her actions, and he turned to me to order me coldly, "Anna is being considerate of you. Just let her have a bite to repay your debt to her."

Considerate of me? Hah! I almost laughed out of anger, but I held back my rage for the Great Glare three days later.

"Fine." I looked at Anna coldly and exposed my neck to her. "If you aren't afraid of dying from my blood, go ahead and drink it.

Anna opened up her jaws excitedly to reveal her fangs, and she sank them hard into my neck.

However, Anna suddenly screamed the next second, "Ahhh, my throat really hurts!" She fell sitting on the ground while holding onto her neck and rolling on the ground. Black blood dripped from the corner of her lips. "Poison… There's poison on her neck. It's Verbena…"

My abdomen struck the corner of the table when I was pushed. I was in so much pain that I could not stand. However, Dracula ignored me and rushed to Anna's side right away. "Anna!"

Tears streamed down Anna's face while she wailed pitifully, "Emily smothered Verbena on her skin… She wanted to poison me…"

Dracula turned to glare furiously at me with reddened eyes. "Emily! Give me an explanation!"

I struggled as I tried to get off the ground. "It's not me. I didn't do it. Verbena is the bane of vampires, and it can't be found anywhere near here. Where am I supposed to get any when I'm locked up in this castle?"

A hard slap was dealt to me.

"Excuses!" Dracula's eyes were filled with disgust. "Anna took a blade for you back then. How could you poison her when all she needs is some blood from you? Don't you have a conscience?"

I knew he would never believe anything I said. I wiped away the blood from the corner of my lips and looked up at him with a sneer. "How stupid can you be, Dracula? If I wanted her dead, all I needed to do was tear her neck with my jaws. Why would I go through so much trouble?"

"Vile woman! Shut up!" Dracula refused to listen to anything I had to say. "If you love Verbena so much, I'll give it to you!"

He gave the order unfeelingly, "Drag her back to her room. She isn't allowed to eat for the next three days. All she gets for food is Verbena! Let her have her fill!"

Dracula had forgotten that the baby inside me possessed both our bloodlines.

"Take her away!" Before I could say anything, the guards dragged me off like a criminal.
