Chapter 2

Dex Hospital is a private institution with more comprehensive medical facilities than some public hospitals.

Therefore, most people prefer to seek treatment here.

In my previous life, Mandy was hospitalized after being diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer.

Back then, to raise money for her treatment, I worked several jobs a day and even begged Mia who had severed ties with our family.

However, Mandy still passed away in the end.

I honored her last wish and had her body cremated, but then I received a video and a payment reminder from the hospital.

Logically, I should have rushed to the hospital to demand an explanation like I did in my previous life, or at least paid the fees and kept the receipt as evidence.

But I didn't.

I intentionally ignored the payment reminder sent by the doctor and waited specifically for someone.

Finally, after staking out the hospital entrance for three or four days, I spotted a man with an anxious expression hurrying by.

I quickly ran up and stopped him.

"What are you doing?" he asked, looking at me with suspicion.

I showed him the video and the payment reminder from the doctor.

"You've had a similar experience as my mother. Your sister was also bullied by this doctor. Why don't we work together to make her and those who support her pay the price?"

The man's name is Andre.

After I first questioned Amanda in my previous life, he followed suit and exposed on the internet that Dex Hospital had indulged Amanda in bullying patients.

His intention was to pressure the hospital through public opinion to replace Amanda so that his sister could continue her treatment.

Unfortunately, the hospital stopped administering medication to his sister, which ultimately led to her death on the hospital bed.

I happened to witness the tragic of his sister's death when I left the interrogation room.

It was miserable.

She died almost as if she had been tortured.

The injuries on her body were very shocking!

My mother had no fewer bruises than his sister.

"You'd be better off finding someone else than coming to me."

"I'm busy earning money to save my sister's life. I don't have time for your plan."

He covered his face, revealing bloodshot eyes filled with helpless pain and remorse.

His eyes were filled with pain and regret for his own powerlessness.

I took a card out of my bag and placed it in front of him, and he was confused. "Here is 500 thousand dollars. Take it for now."

After being reborn, I had bought several lottery tickets based on my memories of my previous life, hoping to have enough money to achieve my goals.

And Andre was my first move.

As the saying goes, money makes the world go round, especially when you share the same plight and purpose with someone.

Such a connection will bind us closer together.

After hesitating for a few seconds, Andre grabbed the bank card and left the coffee shop, rushing to the hospital across the street.

He was eager to make the payment.

One of his friends who worked on a construction site had a similar experience where his parent was denied surgery due to a lack of timely payment at Dex Hospital.

Andre didn't want the same thing to happen to his sister.

Unfortunately, it didn't happen to his sister, but instead, she suffered daily torment from Amanda and ultimately passed away.

The reason I contacted Andre was because he knew many others who had been victimized by Amanda.

However, Amanda had powerful backers.

No one could expose her crimes.

That's why I needed Andre to gather these people.

The power of the masses is immense.

Especially when the anger and grief of those whose loved ones have suffered reach their peak.
