EVA'S POV

"Hi, who are you and what are you here for??" she asked.

"Wow, it's barely even minutes since he broke up with me and now he is with another??" I asked as I scoffed.

"What??? Excuse me, I ask again who the hell are you and why are you here??"

"I should be the one asking you that question...why are you at my boyfriend's house??" I asked.

Never did I ever think I would stoop so low as to do whatever I was doing at the moment.

"Boyfriend?? I think you lost your way here." She said.

I was about to respond to her when the one who broke up with me through a text message yelled from a distance.

"Baby,who is it??!!!"

"Baby?? Oh wow." I said as I laughed.

"I don't know...I think she lost her say here and she is acting crazy too."

I heard footsteps as he walked out.

"Eva???" He said in shock.

"Yeah, Eva and it looks like you have found yourself a new plaything."

"Watch your words Eva.... aren't you ashamed of yourself??? I broke up with you through a text message and I was pretty sure I made the message clearer by blocking you and now you came to My house?? How shameless can you be??" He asked.

Tears gathered in my eyes as they threatened to fall after hearing those words come out of his mouth.

"You are the only one who is shameless!! So she was the reason you broke off our relationship??!!"

"Eva, you and I both knew the relationship wasn't going to last anyway so please go back home and move on." He said.

"What about the things I have ever gotten for you??!! I want them back!!"

Honestly, this was not how I imagined myself venting out of anger.

I was so hurt because I invested my time and effort in this particular relationship to make it work.

"You have overstayed your welcome, please leave now." Blondie said.

"Shut the fuck up!!! I wasn't talking to you."

She scoffed and went inside in such a hurry.

"That's right...walk away." I said.

"Leave now Eva or I am calling security."

"I am not going anywhere until you give me back the things I gifted you during the duration of our relationship."

Suddenly,Blondie came back out and before I could say something to her, she poured water on me.

I hung my mouth open in surprise as I looked at my body from head to toe.

"The next time you come here, it will be Acid.. stupid bitch." She said as they went inside and slammed the door on my face.

"Relationship-100 and Eva-0" I said as the tears threatening to come out finally came out.

I walked out and ordered a ride to my best friend's house drenched in water as I hung my head low in shame.

As soon as I got there, I knocked.

"Who is it?? I'm coming!!" She said.

Few seconds later, she opened the door.

"Hi Christina." I said.

"Oh my goodness!!! What happened, Eva??? Why are you drenched?? Did it rain??" She asked as she looked around in confusion.

"Can I come Inside first??"

"Yeah sure." 

I walked inside the house and asked her for a change of clothes and after changing my clothes I sighed deeply as I laid on the bed.

"Girl, what happened??"

"Matthew broke up with me." I said.

"Again??!!"

"Really?? Even you???" I asked.

"I am sorry....but why??"

"I don't even know...he broke with me through a text message." I said as I showed her the text messages.

"He ended the relationship and had the guts to say all of these??" She asked in anger.

"That's not the craziest part....I am just coming from his house after his blonde girlfriend drenched me with water."

"You are joking right??"

"I wish I was."

"But why??? Why did you go over there Eva? That is unlike you."

"I don't even know why I went there, Christie.... it's like I was being compelled."

" Well I understand you Sweetie....it's yet another unexplainable breakup and maybe you just wanted closure."

"Never again am I getting into another relationship...I am done!!!" I said.

"Hey, don't say that....there is someone for you out there and when he comes, he will love and appreciate you for who you are."

"The universe is against me and I know there isn't anyone for me out there."

"That's what you said the last time before Matthew." She said, rolling her eyes.

"Girl, are you rolling your eyes at me??"

"Maybe." She said as we burst into laughter.

"You just need to take it easy Eva...work on yourself and the right man will find you." She said.

"Thanks babe...I am glad I came here because I knew I would feel better."

"How's your mom??"

"She is still mom...still persistent about me getting married."

"She needs to stop pressuring her children to get married!!"

"Says someone whose Father arranged a blind date for her." I said teasingly.

We both burst into laughter.

"No, my Dad is another version of crazy." She said.

"I figured."

"Everything will be fine Eva...just don't lose hope in love okay??"

"Okay, I guess...by the way I am starving." I said.

"You went to your ex's house on an empty stomach??? What, you intended to eat there??" She asked, smirking.

"you were the last person I expected to tease me like this." I said laughing.

"Well what are best friends for??"

"Are you going to feed my empty belly or not??"

"Calm dowTiger...Let me order some pizza...I'll be right back." She said.

"Thanks babe." 

"Always welcome mama." She said as she left.

I looked around reminiscing on the event that happened earlier on and I realized how stupid I was.

Just as I was lost in thoughts, my phone started ringing.

I checked the caller Id and found out it was my mom calling.

" Hello, Mother??"

"Eva, you need to come over to the house right now...it's an emergency."
