For My Sister, My Parents Sacrifice My Life Chapter 1

I didn't realize until after I died that my tardiness wasn't an accident.

My parents set up to trick me into missing the enrollment registration in order to let my twin sister Zella Thomas go to college.

The prestigious university that I had worked so hard to get into ended up letting my sister, who can't even pass the exams, go to it.

When my soul returned home, I realized that they wanted me to exchange lives with my sister and planned for me to take over her place and retake the college entrance examination after I returned home.

Dad said that it was an accident to have me, and that it would be my honor to help my sister.

When I woke up, I returned to the day when the college entrance examination results came out.

——

"How did you do on the exam, Chloe?"

Hearing my parents' unusual concern, I suddenly realized that I was reborn.

My parents never cared about my grades in the past, instead, they cared about my sister Zella, who was poor in studying.

The training classes and tutors took turns, but her grades remained consistently poor.

So every time the exam results were announced, the atmosphere at home was particularly low.

In my previous life, I was admitted to a prestigious university. My parents were particularly concerned about my grades and the time of enrollment. They even offered to book tickets for me. I didn't think much of it, thinking that they finally cared about me once.

But I didn't expect that my carelessness caused me to completely lose the opportunity to go to college.

On the eve of enrollment, my parents specially prepared a table full of delicious dishes, all of which were my favorite dishes.

But they actually put sleeping pills in the food. When I woke up, it was already three days later.

Thinking that I had missed the enrollment, I was extremely anxious. But the tickets for that day were already sold out, so I had to find a ride to the university at the last minute. However, I unexpectedly died in a car accident on the way.

My soul came to the university with obsession, but I unexpectedly discovered that Zella had taken on my name and had already completed the enrollment, enjoying a carefree life on the campus that should have belonged to me.

I was completely disheartened, but after returning home, I overheard my parents' conversation.

It turned out that it was all their elaborate plan.

They let Zella go to college instead of me, and said that after I gave up, I could use Zella's name to take the exam next year, anyway, I was good at studying.

They also said that all of this originally belonged to Zella, but my unexpected birth took away my sister's life, and now it had kind of returned.

"What's wrong with you? I'm asking you!"

My dad's impatient words woke me up, and I looked at my sister who was pretending not to care.

She was playing games, but all her attention was focused on me.

Looking at the computer in front of me, I found my results were displayed on the screen.

Just like in my previous life, I got very high grades. When my parents and sister saw my score, they exchanged glances and smiled brightly.

In my previous life, I foolishly thought they were happy for me.

But now that I looked at their smiles, I felt a chill creeping up my spine.

As expected, Mom turned her head and said to me with a big smile, "Chloe, you did so well on this exam. Is there anything you want to eat? I will cook it for you."

With that said, she also asked my dad to take me out to buy supplies for college. But when my sister heard this, her face darkened.

"Come on, it's just a stroke of luck. Why are you so proud?"

Mom reached out and tugged on Zella's sleeve, taking her outside. Dad, on the other hand, stared at the computer screen without blinking, making admiring sounds from time to time.

"I never expected that, our family actually has such a day. It's really the honor of the family."

Once I thought that they were surprised by my good grades, but how could I have known that underneath their happy appearance, a conspiracy had already been quietly underway?
