My family felt regretful after I was diagnosed with stomach cancer Chapter 1

When my parents hung up the phone for the 99th time, I walked into the household registration office with the cancer diagnosis report.

“Hello, I want to cancel my household registration in advance.”

Ten minutes later, my parents and my adopted sister hurried over.

My police father slapped me as soon as he entered the door.

“You are wasting police resources just to compete with your sister. You have read so many books that you can’t even remember!”

My forensic mother snatched the diagnosis from my hand, glanced at it and sneered, “You forged medical records and pretended to be sick just to get attention. You have been a liar since you were a child.”

My adopted sister cried and pulled my parents’ hands. “I’m sorry, sister. I won’t celebrate my birthday anymore. Please don’t lie to Dad and Mom anymore!”

I wiped the nosebleed that couldn’t stop and stood in front of the household registration staff again.

“I don’t have any family anymore. In order not to delay the cremation in three days, please help me cancel my household registration.”

In the third month after being diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer, the doctor strongly requested that I be hospitalized for treatment.

But I had no money, so I could only ask my parents for help.

When my parents hung up on me for the 99th time, I walked into the household registration office with the cancer diagnosis report.

“Hello, I want to cancel my household registration in advance.”

The staff looked at me with pity and asked, “Little girl, don’t you have any family?”

As soon as the voice fell, my parents rushed over with my adopted sister.

My father slapped me without saying anything, pointed at my nose and scolded in anger, “You waste the police force just to compete with your sister! You have read so much that you can’t even remember it!”

I was stunned.

It took me a while to remember that today was the birthday party of my adopted sister, Sirena.

Dad took two days off to accompany her.

And I, the biological daughter with advanced cancer, just called him to ask for some medical expenses, but I was accused of wasting police force.

Tears quickly rolled in my eyes.

I covered my swollen cheek and explained, “Dad, I didn’t…”

“Still quibbling!”

My mother snatched the report from my hand, glanced at it and sneered, “You forged medical records to gain attention and ruined your sister’s important birthday party! You have been a liar since you were a child and you still expect us to believe you?”

As she said this, she also wanted to come up and hit me, but was pulled back by Sirena.

Sirena’s eyes were full of tears and she pleaded with me weakly and innocently, “I’m sorry, sister. I shouldn’t celebrate my birthday, please don’t lie to my parents anymore! My parents have been worried about you. If you can repent, I promise you will never celebrate your birthday again!”

My mother held Sirena in her arms with heartache, wiping her tears bit by bit.

The picture of the deep love between mother and daughter hurt my eyes.

I was at a loss and a hot nosebleed flowed out of my nose.

I raised my hand to wipe the blood from my nose, turned around and stood at the window to handle business again. I said to the staff, “I have no family anymore. In order not to delay the cremation in three days, please help me cancel my household registration.”

My father laughed out loud in anger and said sarcastically, “You dragged the staff to act with you just to ruin your sister’s birthday party. It’s just nonsense! Just wait to pay the price for your bad behavior! Don’t say you are my daughter when the time comes!”

After that, they took Sirena and left without looking back.

After completing all the procedures, I went home alone.

Three days to life countdown.

I handled the household registration cancellation alone in the late stage of cancer.

And my parents were celebrating the birthday of their adopted daughter.
