Chapter 1

In my previous life, my husband faked his death, took all the property and ran off with his mistress, leaving me alone to repay the debts. My life was a mess!

My vicious mother-in-law refused to let me go. In order to immigrate abroad and live a carefree life, she deliberately gave me drugs to cause me to have a miscarriage.

She did not want me to give birth to a grandson for her.

So, when my life was starting over again, I looked at my husband who was faking his death and made a decision in my heart.

In your previous life, you faked your death to trick me. That was why when you really die in this life, I would bury you for real.

“Sister-in-law, you must take care of yourself. No one wants this to happen, but we have tried our best. Erwin has passed away despite failed rescue efforts."

I was helped to come to my senses and the body of my husband, Erwin Chavez, was pushed in front of me.

He was covered with a white cloth and laid motionless.

Erwin's brother-in-law, Foster Armstrong, the doctor who performed the emergency treatment, came over, took off his glasses and couldn't help wiping away tears.

“Sister-in-law, Erwin is gone. You have to be strong. I'm afraid you can't bear it. Just sign this death notice. I'll push him to the morgue and have him cremated.”

Foster was very anxious and had already prepared paper and pen before he came to me.

I picked up the pen in a daze and saw the rhinestone manicure I had just done on my slender fingers, as well as the date on the death notice that went back five years ago.

I was absolutely sure that I had been reborn!

Looking at the death notice, everything about my previous life seemed to be still vivid in my mind.

That rainy night, Erwin came back late from a social event and was sent for emergency treatment in the middle of the night.

Foster rescued him all night and told me in the morning that he had a heart attack due to staying up late, drinking, irregular lifestyle and diet. He eventually died after failed rescue efforts.

When I heard the sad news, I cried so hard that I fainted.

When I woke up again, Erwin had completely disappeared from my life. He was cremated and finally handed to me. It was just an urn weighing three pounds, without even a last word.

I was lamenting the unfairness of fate when I found out that I was unexpectedly pregnant.

I originally wanted to leave that posthumous child as a descendant for Erwin, but who knew that after Erwin died, he left me a loan of nearly 1.4 million.

Just two days after he died, bank managers came to my door one after another to collect debts from me.

Because Erwin deliberately used my name to take out a loan during his lifetime, my name was written as the legal representative of most of the projects he ran.

I was unable to repay the loan, resulting in all the houses and cars under my name being mortgaged and reclaimed. I had nowhere to go and had to ask my mother-in-law, Victoria Chavez, for help.

Not only did my mother-in-law not help, she also tricked me into taking abortion pills. She wanted to solve the problem between me and my pregnant belly. Then, she completely cut me off, so that she could immigrate to a foreign country alone and lived a carefree life.

After the miscarriage, I dragged my overwhelmed body and my increasingly worse days into living in a cheap rental house, working three or four jobs every day to repay the remaining debts.

The days were so dark at one point that there was no end and it was extremely hopeless.

But just five years later, I saw an even more desperate scene.

On the street, Erwin came back to life. He was getting younger and richer. He walked past me in a swagger with his arm around a graceful woman.

The two of them got into the luxury car, chatting, laughing and throwing the plastic bottles in the car to me as if giving alms, without recognizing me at all.

I ran up like crazy, opened my arms, stopped their car and identified myself.

Unexpectedly, Erwin did not hide it and directly admitted that he had faked his death in order to elope with his mistress. He wanted to get rid of this trouble of mine and clear his debts at the same time.

I was so angry that I vomited blood and roared on the spot, but Erwin was still smiling happily with his mistress.

In order to please the mistress, Erwin stepped on the accelerator and rushed towards me.

Although he didn't intend to kill me, I was too emotionally agitated and deeply shocked. As a result, I died.

I didn't expect that when I opened my eyes again, I would be reborn.

Recalling that, I held the death notice tightly and made a decision in my heart that went against my believe.

In your previous life, you faked your death to trick me. So, just die in this life for real, my dear husband. I would make sure to bury you with much love.
