Chapter 4

Before I could react, I heard a voice from behind.

“What are you doing?”

Brian’s expression changed instantly.

“Miss Norman, didn’t you tell him to listen to my arrangement? I asked him to pour you a glass of water, but he refused. Besides, I’m a doctor and can control the force. I didn’t use any force, but he bumped into me. Does he not want me to treat you? Otherwise, I’d better go back to the mountain.”

Samantha, who wanted to come and see me, was ignited by Brian’s words.

“Davy, apologize to Doctor Mccoy. Didn’t I teach you to be upright? The little tricks you learned in the slums are not presentable.”

It turned out that in her heart, I was such a person who liked to play tricks.

I looked at Samantha, who was pretending in front of me and exuding a love affair and I couldn’t help questioning her, “I like to play tricks? Why don’t you explain what you did in the room just now!”

After hearing this, Samantha’s face was a little flustered and she subconsciously shifted her eyes.

What she said was even more cruel. “What can I do? Doctor Mccoy was just massaging me with a special technique. Davy, when did you become so dirty? Are you deliberately trying to force him away and make me a wheelchair user for life! If you don’t apologize, I won’t have a brother like you anymore!”

This was the lover I thought I could spend my life with. I couldn’t help but smile bitterly.

Samantha, did you know that you wouldn’t have a brother like me soon?

I struggled to stand up and bowed 90 degrees to Brian, who was standing next to me with a provocative look.

“I’m sorry, Doctor Mccoy. I misunderstood you. I’ll go get you some water now, please wait.”

Brian’s pride was about to overflow, but he waved his hand generously.

“Forget it, I’m just a doctor and can’t order the young master of the Norman Family around.”

After Brian left, I wanted to leave but was stopped by Samantha.

“Come here, I’ll apply medicine on you.”

Only then did I notice that my forehead that had just been hit was already bleeding.

She took out the medicine box and gently wiped my wound with her eyes focused.

After applying the medicine, she blew gently on the wound.

“Blow it and the pain will fly away.”

This most famous cold-blooded female president of the Norman Group used her occasional warmth to hold me firmly in her palm.

Over the years, whenever I wanted to escape, she would deepen the chains like now to make me sink willingly.

Unfortunately, this time my heart had frozen and I didn’t want to be obedient anymore.

I took the initiative to move to the room farthest from Samantha.

In the last few days, I didn’t want to see anything between them.

But when I wanted to go back to get the things Samantha gave me, I couldn’t find them.

Until the smell of burning flames came from the backyard. When I hurried over, I saw Brian stuffing things into the fire one by one.

I desperately wanted to run over to grab it back, but he stopped me.

“What are you doing? Why do you burn my things?”

He stopped me and said innocently, “I just took a bunch of junk from an empty room. Who knows it’s yours? Besides, they are all worthless things. They are not as important as the medicine soup I make for Miss Norman.”

After that, he directed the servants to continue throwing things in. I watched those things disappear one by one and gradually stopped struggling. Just think that the ten years in the Norman Family were just a dream of my own. After the dream, there was no trace. There was no need for these things to exist.
