Fake Sister, Fake Heiress Chapter 1

My name was Tilda Hersey. My long-lost sister, Harley Hersey, had been found.

She felt like I took everything that was rightfully hers. She stole my fiancé and wanted to inherit the family fortune.

But she didn't know that being a true heiress was not that easy, and she was not a true heiress to begin with.

The first time I saw Harley was in a high-end club.

She was wearing a backless black dress, selling wine to a middle-aged bald man.

I knew she was my long-lost sister almost as soon as I saw her face.

Because she looked exactly like my mother when she was young.

Harley used to sell wine to earn a living. Thanks to me, she became the second daughter of the Hersey family.

My parents, who had always been strict with me, almost always fulfilled all of her requests. After all, she was their lost and regained daughter.

To cover up her past, she asked our parents to publicly announce that she had grown up abroad all these years.

For a while, the media extensively reported the news of the return of the Hersey Group's CEO's younger daughter.

And I, as her biological older sister who found her back, ended up being hated by her.

She greedily tried to take everything from me by feeding on Mom and Dad's guilt about her.

"Tilda, just let Harley have her way. It's not easy being on her own all these years."

I had heard so much of this kind of words after Harley was back, and I was getting sick of it.

My parents felt sorry for her because she had been on her own out there for years, and they asked me to give in to her. So, she could take whatever and whoever she liked from me. All of these were simply because I was two years older than her.

But why should I give in to her? It wasn't my fault she got lost back then.

However, when Harley took away my things, I didn't show any unwillingness at all.

Because the things she could take away were things I didn't want.

Adrian Bond was my fiancé. He came from a wealthy family and was chosen by my parents as my ideal husband. But under Harley's act of pretending to be pitiful, he became her fiancé.

With Adrian's consent, Harley was now his fiancée.

"Tilda, you won't mind, right?"

Although Tilda was smiling brightly, she still pretended to be worried when approaching me.

I showed her a decent smile and said, "Of course not. I'm just afraid that you might."

Harley thought that I was lying because I was so stubborn.

"Of course, I don't mind. I'm so happy to have such an outstanding fiancé. Adrian is the best."

I looked at the complacency in Harley's eyes and sighed slightly. She was so naive, and I couldn't even be bothered by her tactics.

Harley saw the indifferent expression on my face, and a trace of ferocity flashed across her beautiful face.

She gritted her teeth and whispered in my ear, "Tilda, you must be very angry. Stop pretending to be magnanimous!"

I raised an eyebrow and said with a smile, "I wish you happiness."

Honestly, I did want her to be happy.

Because Adrian didn't like women.

In fact, Adrian and I were besties.

The news of their engagement was soon known to the media and made the front page of the news.

For a while, I, his ex-fiancée, became the object of ridicule by everyone.

So, when my parents asked me to attend an event, I refused with the excuse of "heartbreak" because of the "breakup".

"Tilda, why are you so against us?"

Being rejected by me, my father felt his authority was challenged. His tone became slightly gloomy, and he began to criticize me for not being a good daughter.

Over the years, because I was my parents' only daughter, they had placed all their hopes on me and had strict demands on everything I did.

Many times, I felt more like their subordinate.

I looked at them, hiding the disappointment in my eyes, and said with a smile, "Harley can go. You have two daughters now, right? It doesn't have to be me."

Harley, who was watching the show on the side, was stunned by my words. She couldn't believe she could be so lucky.

Almost as soon as I finished speaking, Harley eagerly said, "Mom, Dad, I'm willing to go for Tilda!"

My parents didn't have any more objections after they heard her words.

I looked at Harley's happy expression and smiled meaningfully.
