Chapter 4

"What are you doing?"

He screamed while holding his butt.

"What are you doing? Go away and don't make me angry."

He went to bed again.

"Are you crazy? You've been acting crazy for no apparent reason since you came back."

What?

Now I was the one going crazy.

In his eyes, it was crazy for Moira to walk around in front of him in the middle of the night wearing a sexy nightgown.

I didn't want to talk to him and thought that his whole family was abnormal.

I started booking a train ticket back to the city on my phone.

I wanted to go back. I couldn't stay here any longer.

It was really hard to book tickets for the travel rush. I waited the whole night and only bought a standing ticket for three days later at daybreak.

The next day.

I was in the house and didn't want to go out and face those psychos.

I thought I could just endure for three days and then leave, taking my daughter with me.

Felix got up very early.

They were eating breakfast outside, chatting and laughing, while I was alone in the room eating the biscuits that I hadn't finished on the way.

Truda woke up and wanted to drink milk.

I had no choice but to go out and make milk powder for her.

As soon as I went out, I saw Moira holding the mop from yesterday.

"You finally got up? Hurry up and mop the floor.

"Clean the whole house. It's Christmas soon, so we need to do some spring cleaning."

I wouldn't do that.

She handed me the mop and turned to leave.

I just threw it back at her.

The mop stick hit her head with a clear thud.

She screamed and pointed at me.

"What's wrong with you?"

I was making milk powder while arguing with her.

"Whoever buys the mop should mop the floor. It's such an expensive mop, so you better use it.

"I'm doing this because you slapped me yesterday."

Moira said, "You are not a good person to live with, you..."

She was about to continue scolding me when the door opened.

No one knew when Felix went out. A woman came in with him.

She seemed to be very familiar with him.

"Felix, I heard that you bought a bracelet for my sister and a necklace for Jack.

"You are so capable. I also want a bracelet. Please buy one for me."

This was Moira's sister, Zoey Frost. No wonder she was also shameless.

She made such an impertinent request.

I didn't want to listen to them. Felix would definitely not agree.

But I didn't expect that before I even entered the room, I heard Felix saying with a smile.

"Of course. I'll buy you one exactly like Moira's."

I was so angry that my body was shaking.

I didn't get mad, and he just got worse and worse.

I wanted to let them know that this bracelet couldn't be bought casually.

I was not someone who would be bullied easily.

I grabbed Felix's collar and slapped him.

"Felix, how much money do you have to buy bracelets for everyone?"

Only then did he see me, and his eyes immediately showed guilt.

He said, "This is Moira's sister. We are all family. It's rare for me to come back, so I should give her a gift."

I said, "Oh, you want to buy something for Moira and also buy something for her sister. Why don't you just marry her and buy whatever you want?"

Before Felix could say anything, Moira stood in front of him again.
