Chapter 1

My husband's elder brother and sister-in-law were arguing.

His sister-in-law, Moira Frost, ran out angrily, and my husband, Felix Wilson, chased after her.

In the evening, Moira came back with a smile.

Because Felix bought her an expensive bracelet and took her shopping and eating.

I was so angry that I almost hit him.

Unexpectedly, Felix took out a mop from behind and gave it to me.

"You said our house was not clean. I bought you a mop."

I went home for Christmas.

On the first day, I saw Felix's brother, Milo Wilson, and his wife arguing.

I didn't know the specific reason, but they were already arguing when we got home.

Felix and I had just put down our luggage when Moira ran out of the house angrily.

She run and shouted.

"Divorce. Milo, I want to divorce you."

My mother-in-law, Mandy, was anxious.

"Milo, hurry up and chase her. Bring Moira back."

Milo lay directly on the bed.

"I'm not going. I don't care.

"We can get a divorce. I'm not afraid."

Mandy turned around and pulled Felix, who was just arrived.

"Felix, get Moira back. Quickly."

Felix didn't hesitate, left me and my daughter and walked out.

I was stunned, holding my daughter, Truda, in my arms, had mixed feelings.

It didn't make sense for Felix to chase after his sister-in-law who run away from home.

Unexpectedly, what made me even angrier was yet to come.

An afternoon.

Felix didn't answer my calls or reply to my messages.

I was still wondering if something had happened.

But Mandy and Milo were very calm.

They watched TV and played their phones.

Truda and I were the only ones sitting in the messy room, not knowing what to do.

This was Felix's old house. We only had this one bedroom here. And it was filled with miscellaneous items by Moira.

I looked in the closet and saw her old panties and bras.

Her high heels were on the floor.

I even saw two sexy underwears in the corner.

It was not until dark that I saw the two came back from outside, talking and laughing.

Moira was walking in front. And when she passed by me, she deliberately raised her hand.

The bracelet shining brightened my eyes.

Mandy immediately greeted her with a smile.

"Moira, welcome back. I'm waiting for you to have dinner."

"No, Felix and I ate dinner outside."

At this time, Milo also came out of the room, holding Moira's hand.

"Honey, are you happy now?"

Moira looked at me proudly and raised her hand again.

"You bastard. You are so stingy that you don't want to spend money. Look, this bracelet that Felix bought for me. Isn't it beautiful?

"What's more, he also bought a necklace for our son. Come, let my son try it."

As she spoke, she took out an exquisite necklace from her bag and put it around Jack's neck.

I was stunned.

What?

Felix took his sister-in-law to buy a bracelet and a necklace, spending tens of thousands of dollars.

Why?

I looked at Felix. He seemed to have just seen me.

He said quickly.

"Amber, I also brought you a gift."

I was thinking, "Could it be that when he bought a bracelet for Moira, he also bought one for me?"

I was quite looking forward to it, although I still couldn't understand why he bought a bracelet for Moira.
