Chapter 2

I bought the lottery ticket casually.

The winning number was a combination of Dolf and Bob's birthday dates.

That day, I bought the sneakers that Bob had always wanted.

I didn't want to ask Dolf for money, so I saved money for half a year to buy this.

After buying the sneakers, I bought a lottery ticket.

I didn't expect to win one hundred million dollars.

Dolf didn't answer my calls or reply my messages.

I was so excited that I came to his company to find him directly.

I ignored the curious looks of his colleagues and the strange noise in the office.

I pushed the door open and saw the heartbreaking scene.

I bent down to pick up the divorce agreement on the ground and saw Dolf's signature on it.

It turned out that when I was imagining our future, Dolf had already been prepared to leave me at any time.

Our love before turned into a sharp blade, stabbing my heart repeatedly.

I was once a proud and enthusiastic girl, how could I be a full-time housewife?

From the very beginning, I was totally wrong!

"Dolf, let's get a divorce. Let's see who is the burden!"

Impulsively, I picked up the pen and was about to sign.

The lottery ticket in my hand suddenly made me come back to my senses.

If I signed like this, it would be too easy for them.

I put away the pen, wiped my tears, and said to the three of them seriously, "I agree to divorce, but we still need to discuss the details about arranging our property and kid."

Mia's smile froze instantly, and she pointed at my nose and cursed, "How dare you talk about the property?

"Dolf has raised you for ten years. He has spent at least hundreds of thousands of dollars on you. He is already nice enough not to ask you to return the money.

"How dare you make demands now?"

Bob hugged Mia's thighs and said with disdain, "Don't worry, I will live with you and dad. You just need to pay child support on time every month!"

I snorted, "You must be dreaming. Dolf, it is a fact that you cheated on me during marriage. We can divorce, but I demand you to leave without any of our property!"

Dolf just pressed my hand on the divorce agreement by force.

"Kristina, you must sign this today! Otherwise, I will call your father who has a heart disease. Let's see if he can bear to see this."

He was so shameless that made me sick.

"Are you threatening me with my dad? Why are you so ruthless?"

Dolf laughed at me mockingly and said, "As long as you agree to divorce, everything will be fine."

He seemed to be confident that I could only agree to a divorce.

I opened the office door and shouted, "Dolf, I can agree to a divorce if you can repeat your words just now!"

Colleagues looked at us curiously and began murmuring.

Dolf was at the critical point of being promoted to director.

It didn't matter what happened between him and Mia in private.

But if they had a quarrel with me in public, their career would most likely be affected.

Dolf got scared and hurriedly closed the door.

His tone softened, "Kristina, we have been together for more than ten years, don't make any of us embarrassed. Let's talk about it when we get home."

I knew he was delaying time.

But it also gave me time.

The lottery ticket was bearer, so I asked my mother to cash the ticket in her name.

I gave my parents several million dollars and let them travel around the world.

I also told my father not to answer any calls from anyone except me.

Then I bought a big villa by the sea.

Originally, I wanted to retire with Dolf and enjoy our life with this amount of money.

I also wanted to let Bob live a luxury life.

But now, I felt sick even to the sight of them.

Dolf's eagerness to divorce was suspicious.

I quickly hired a private detective to investigate.

It turned out that they had been together for a long time.

Woking overtime and business trips were just excuses for the two to have sex.

Dolf didn't take Mia seriously or want to divorce me.

But the old house of his family was about to be demolished, and he was about to get compensation.

The compensation was estimated to be two million dollars.

Dolf didn't want to give me a penny, so he forced me to divorce him by claiming that he had fallen in love with Mia.

If he knew that he lost one hundred million dollars for two million dollars, would he regret it?

As for Bob, who had a weak body, did he think he could live a better life without me?
