Eight years of operation

For eight years, I believed in my marriage to Fu Yunshen, ignoring the persistent shadow of Song Miao, the woman he claimed to despise. But as his complaints about her faded, cute emojis filled his texts. On the eve of our anniversary, Fu Yunshen promised a surprise, dismissing persistent phone notifications as annoying customer service. Driven by curiosity, I checked his phone while he slept, only to find a purchase history for large-sized lingerie sent directly to Song Miao.

Chapter 1

I married Fu Yunshen for eight years, and Song Miao pursued him for eight years.

At first, what Fu Yunshen disliked the most was Song Miao. He always complained to me:

"That Song Miaochang is so ugly, it's fortunate that she keeps pestering me. If it weren't for my colleagues' sake, I wouldn't bother to talk to her!"

But gradually, Fu Yunshen didn't often mention her.

But in his chat, there were many cute emojis added.

The night before the anniversary, Fu Yunshen accompanied me to dinner, and my phone kept ringing.

He explained, "This customer service is also too annoying. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, and I bought you a gift."

I asked what gift it was, and he hid his phone and said it was a surprise.

That night, Fu Yunshen fell asleep, and I inexplicably unlocked his phone, wanting to see what kind of surprise it was.

But I found out that his latest purchase record is not in my size, a large size underwear.

The consignee is Song Miao.

"Wife, the anniversary gift I bought for you has arrived. Open it quickly and see if you like it?"

Fu Yunshen handed me a beautifully packaged gift box.

His expression was full of anticipation.

I took it over and calmly opened it, revealing a white branded bag.

I froze in place.

This bag was seen two weeks ago when I was shopping with Fu Yunshen.

Because I took a few more glances, Fu Yunshen remembered it in his heart.

Seeing me staring at me with no expression, Fu Yunshen tentatively asked me, "What's wrong, Yiyun? Don't you like it?"

I looked up and asked him, "Is there nothing else?"

Fu Yunshen's eyes were clean and pure, as if he had met him for the first time.

My friends around me always joke that men have a short flowering period.

With the passage of time, the young man who was once young has gradually become greasy, gained weight, and even developed a beer belly.

But Fu Yunshen is different.

He still has a tall and muscular figure, and his fashion aesthetics are also online.

Every time I walk on the road, I can attract many girls to look back, just like a male god.

Fu Yunshen heard me ask this question with a bright and brilliant smile.

"How do you know that I have prepared something else?"

He pulled out a large bouquet of roses from behind and handed it to me.

"Wife, happy eighth anniversary!"

The bouquet of roses was dazzling, but my eyes dimmed.

If it weren't for the sudden act of checking Fu Yunshen's phone last night, perhaps one would have believed that he is so sincere and affectionate at this moment, with only me in his eyes and heart.

But I saw it.

That latest purchase record.

He personally bought it for Song Miao.

I also saw the message he sent to Song Miao, "Show me this outfit the day after tomorrow."

And yesterday during dinner, my phone kept ringing, which was not a annoying customer service representative.

But Song Miao is sending him an invitation to open a room.

The latest reply is, "Okay, but I can only accompany you for two hours."

Fu Yunshen was planning to have a candlelight dinner tonight in my ear, but I didn't hear a word.

His purchase record and the reply remained like a thorn.

It's hurting my heart.

I can't figure out exactly where the problem is.

Fu Yunshen and I have had a fondness for each other since high school, and we were together at the age of eighteen.

We have known each other for ten years and have been married for eight years. We both consider each other to be steadfast lovers.

He once proposed to me in front of all his classmates on the campus playground, filled with roses——

"I, Fu Yunshen, love only Zhou Yiyun in this lifetime!"

"Zhou Yiyun, will you marry me?"

There have been too many people chasing him, but for the past decade, Fu Yunshen has remained unwavering and steadfastly chosen me.

But for some reason, he actually carried my back and entangled himself with Song Miao, whom he once hated the most.

I was so sad that I trembled. In a state of lack of interest, I threw down the roses and didn't even glance at the so-called gifts.

Fu Yunshen noticed my abnormality.

He knelt down on one knee in front of me and asked me in a gentle voice, "Wife, is it because I wasn't ready that made you unhappy?"

I stared into his eyes in silence, my whole body shivering uncontrollably.

I changed the topic and asked him, "It seems like you haven't mentioned Song Miao for a long time. Is she still in your company?"

Fu Yun was deeply stunned.

Perhaps I didn't expect to mention Song Miao, and there was a hint of unease in Fu Yunshen's eyes.

Then he smiled and said,

"She's just an ordinary colleague, what's worth mentioning? Besides, today is our wedding anniversary, why not talk about work?"

I remained silent and didn't speak.

But my heart is getting colder and colder.

Things that I didn't realize before are becoming clearer in my mind now.

The cute emoticons that Fu Yunshen added while chatting.

From time to time, a smile appears on the phone.

There is also an increasing frequency of overtime.

It seems that everything has become traceable.
