Chapter 3

"You already have so many bags, so you don't need this one."

I nodded, not commenting on Scott's words.

"Indeed, there is more than one bag. There are bags, clothes and jewelry in the cloakroom. You can pick whatever you want. See if there are any you like. Take them all. And the man, if you like it, you can take it too."

After saying this, I didn't look at their reactions again, turned around and went straight back to the room.

Celia's voice sounded timidly behind me.

"Is Andrea unhappy? I'm sorry, Scott, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have asked for Andrea's bag. Forget it?"

I slammed the door of the room and Scott's exasperated voice came through the door.

"Don't pay attention to her! She's getting more and more angry now! You're worried about her injury, but she still dares to show you a cold face. Where does she get the face? Take the bag, go! I'll take you home!"

As the sound of opening and closing the door rang out, the whole house returned to silence.

The tears I had been holding back for a whole day finally fell.

It hurt so much, how could it not hurt?

Whether it was my forehead or my heart.

It hurt so much.

Scott, I had been with him for eight years.

It was not an impulse under hormones, but my companionship day and night for eight years and the trust that I put my whole heart in front of him.

From entering the house to leaving, he never asked about the scar on my forehead.

I gently stroked the scar on my forehead and only sadness remained in my heart.

When we first started living together after graduating from college, we rented a small single room in the urban village.

There were many small stones on the road in the urban village and I accidentally fell, but only my knees were slightly red and even the skin was not broken.

But that night, Scott looked at my slightly red knees with red eyes.

"Andrea, does it hurt? Am I useless andrea, for letting you live in such a place? Andrea, do you believe me? I will definitely let you live a good life and I will never let you down."

At that time, he was full of me.

The vows were still ringing in my ears, but the object of his love was no longer me.

I gently wiped away my tears and stood up to pack my things.

I didn't take much with me, only the ones I often wore.

As for the things in the cloakroom, they were all bought by Scott, so I left them all to Celia.

When I left home, Scott hadn't come back yet.

It was too late now and I had nowhere to go, so I took a taxi directly to the hotel.

I came to this city because of Scott.

Now that we have decided to break up, it was only natural to leave this city.

To some extent, this could be considered a beginning and an end.

Not long after I arrived at the hotel, Scott called me.

After I hung up after calling several times, his text message bombardment began.

[Why aren't you home? Where have you been so late? I've told you before, I only treat Celia as my sister, why are you so angry? Why are you so unreasonable now, where are you? I'll pick you up.]

After a while, he sent another message: [Celia said there was a strange man at her door, she was scared, so I went to take a look.]
