Chapter 1

On the eighth anniversary of our relationship, my boyfriend agreed to propose to me.

My boyfriend took great pains to carefully plan a drone show that shocked the whole city.

The drones were constantly arranged and combined in the night sky, but the shape they formed was not my name.

Yes, the male protagonist of this drone show was my boyfriend, but the female protagonist was not me, but his so-called childhood sweetheart.

I asked him with tears in my eyes why it was today.

But he just frowned and looked at me with impatience on his face.

"She said she wanted to watch the drone show. What's wrong with showing her? I treat her as my own sister! You are becoming more and more unreasonable. We have been together for eight years. Are you still worried that I will run away? Are you so afraid that I won't marry you that you have to force me to marry you in front of so many people?"

In front of everyone, he grabbed the wine glass and smashed it on my head and blood dripped onto my white skirt.

My skirt was dirty and my eight-year love was gone.

But he pursued me desperately after the breakup, hoping that I would marry him.

——

I stared at the small blood flowers blooming on the white skirt and I couldn't speak for a while.

Scott seemed to be unable to see my injuries and was still scolding me loudly, "What's wrong with Celia wanting to see the drone show? I really don't know what you are making a fuss about. Are you such a petty woman? Andrea, why didn't I realize that you are such a disgusting woman before!"

I looked straight at the man in front of me whom I had loved for eight years and I didn't know what to say for a while.

Today was the anniversary of our eight-year relationship and it was also the day he promised to propose to me.

A week ago, I saw the plan for this drone show on his desk.

I thought it was a surprise he prepared for me.

So today, I put on a white dress and a white veil and came here.

But there was another woman in his arms.

His childhood sweetheart, his so-called sister, Celia.

They were surrounded by a large group of friends and looked like a perfect match.

The drones in the night sky were constantly arranged and combined to form letters, CC and a heart.

As I was recalling, Celia pulled Scott's sleeve and her charming voice came into my ears at the same time.

"Scott, why are you so fierce? You scared me. Look andrea is injured. You are such a bad guy. You are so fierce to girls. If it weren't for Andrea's good temper, who would be able to stand you."

Scott instantly suppressed his anger and gently rubbed her head.

"I'm just angry. Today is the drone show you have been looking forward to for so long. Don't be afraid, I will never get angry with you. I just wanted to fulfill your little wish perfectly, but now it has been destroyed by insignificant people. I'm sorry, Celia."

Insignificant.

These words hit my heart like heavy hammers, making blood holes.

I reached out and wiped the blood off my forehead, then grabbed the veil from the back of my head and threw it on the ground, leaving the scene without looking back.
