Chapter 1

I was a half-blood vampire.

I wandered through the human world and fell in love with a man.

For him, I filed down my fangs, gave up blood, and nearly killed myself.

In the end, he deceived me into a research facility and revealed his fangs to me.

At the moment my life was in danger, I bit down on his neck...

1

My parents worked at a biological research institute.

They fell in love while working together.

The institute where they worked was located in a dangerous area frequented by zombies and vampires. They usually wore protective gear and carried emergency firearms.

But in their passionate romance, they inevitably engaged in intimate acts.

Sure enough, one night, my parents fell victim to an attack.

A zombie and a vampire struck simultaneously while my parents were making love, biting them both.

Thus, I became the offspring of a vampire and a zombie.

"Princess, where have you run off to again?" Kevin and Casey hurriedly came looking for me.

"Here." I tossed my freshly caught prey to them.

I found their concern amusing. After all, I am a hybrid.

My strength is unparalleled. Even if someone defies me, they cannot withstand my absolute power.

Due to uneven genetic distribution, my vampire traits are quite pronounced.

I perfectly inherited the stunning beauty of the vampire lineage.

I am beautiful, with fair skin and a slender figure. Everything I do has gone smoothly from childhood to adulthood. Everyone bows down to me and flatters me.

I had a lot of fun playing the game and I indulged in bloodsucking for fun.

My parents advised me to tone it down, but I was not afraid at all.

Because I had fed on those from the research institute and the special defense forces before.

Because of my unique identity, I lived in the ancient castle of my race from birth to adulthood, only capturing adventurers who wandered into the forest for some fun—unlike other vampires who could live freely among humans.

My parents warned me that due to my uniqueness, many dissidents wanted to harm me, making it dangerous outside. But I paid no heed. None of them were my match.

Having spent years among my kind, I grew increasingly bored. I thought about going out into the human world, leaving my parents behind to mingle alone among humans.

It was an ordinary night when I lied about going hunting and left the depths of the forest for the distant city.

Aside from wanting to see the human world, I had another wish.

Every vampire family has a beloved partner. But after so many years in the tribe, I had not found mine.

I wanted to find a lover in the human world—a partner with whom I could share everything.

I purchased an ancient castle villa in this place. It has a blood pool, fresh blood bags in the basement, and servants under my control—just like the grandeur of my race's dwelling.

My greatest flaw is that I cannot be exposed to sunlight.

I could only move about at night, so bars became my most frequented places.

I enjoy going to Green Bar in downtown. It is the most upscale entertainment venue in the city. It is extravagantly indulgent and devoid of any presence from the research institute or special defense forces—making it the safest place for me as well.

I love drinking Bloody Marys.

unlike ordinary ones, mine is made with real human blood.

"Miss Erin, what would you like to drink?" The bartender David greeted me with a smile as soon as I arrived. His face had grown considerably paler since my last visit.

"The usual." I smiled back at him and took his wrist for a bite when no one was watching.
