As soon as Marcus heard Athena cry for help,he ran in right away,ignoring everything else.

With the sunlight against his figure,his worried eyes looked the same as when he once saved me.

Only now,Marcus was here to protect Athena.

I stood there without speaking,cold sweat covering my whole body.

Marcus pulled Athena up from the ground,hurriedly looking over her injuries,and shouted at me,“Savannah!How did you turn into this?Athena is your patient who just finished surgery.How can you touch her like that?”

“Patient?”I sarcastically laughed.

I cried and laughed at the same time,my whole body in a terrible state.

A sign of hatred crossed Marcus’s eyes,and Athena dropped into his arms,weeping.

“Marcus,I truly have no courage to face people outside now.I already told Savannah it was just a mistake,but she refuses to trust me and even said…”

Athena glanced at Marcus nervously,tears shining in her eyes.“She even said she will make me drink toilet water and beat me until I die.”

“It was obviously you…”I stared in shock,but Marcus stopped me before I could finish.

“That’s enough!Savannah,haven’t you made enough mess?Athena already explained it was just an accident.Why can’t you be more forgiving?”

Marcus looked at me with a dark face,the anger in his eyes even deeper.

“You want me to be forgiving?”I coldly laughed.

What kind of woman had to be so forgiving that she accepted her husband leaving his wedding ring inside his sister-in-law’s body?

Before I could continue,Marcus carried Athena and said firmly,“You did something like this.I report it to the Medical Association and the hospital and ask them to suspend your medical license.When you think it over and say sorry to Athena,I consider giving it back.”

I stared at him in shock.“Marcus!You have no right to do this!”

Marcus did not spare me a look and turned around to leave.

I could not stop myself from running after him,but his bodyguard shoved me aside hard.

Watching his firm back,I felt cold all over.

I suddenly recalled that evening when Marcus took out a document for me to sign,saying it was a surprise.

Back then,I believed it was something Marcus had prepared for our wedding anniversary,and I signed it with joy.

But I never thought that paper was actually a divorce agreement.
