After sending off my in-laws and Loraine, I made a phone call.

This was the most famous property division lawyer in New York. I wanted to get the property certificate for this villa first.

When I bought it, I paid half of the money, but only wrote Kyle's name on it.

Now Loraine wanted to fight for the family property.

I knew the competition between me and her had just begun.

My daughter hugged me with fear and asked, "Who is that aunt? Why does she bully me? Why is she treating Mommy badly with Grandpa and Grandma?"

Although Nina was young, she saw everything that happened at home. I didn't want to hide it from her, but I didn't want her to be hurt too deeply. I told my daughter, "That aunt is not a good person. She is here to cheat money! Grandpa and Grandma don't know the truth and have been deceived by her."

Nina seemed to understand something important. She asked again, "Where did Daddy go? I haven't seen him for several days. That aunt is really bad. Let Daddy come and beat her up."

My heart was once again hurt by these childish words. In Nina's heart, her father Kyle was a strong and reliable man who would protect her.

I held my four-year-old daughter tightly, not wanting this cruel inheritance division to leave any shadow in her heart.

"Nina, Mommy wants to discuss something with you. Is that okay?"

My obedient daughter nodded, "Mommy, you can tell me. I always listen to Mommy!"

"I will send you to my mother's house for a while, and I will come back to pick you up when things are settled!"

Although my daughter was reluctant, she still accepted my advice.

I sent Nina to a safe place.

I communicated with Mr. Roerig in New York and fought for more legal assistance.

Two weeks later, Loraine appeared at the villa again, to help me move.
