Chapter 4

One night I went to the address written on the part-time bridesmaid advert on the pretext of an interview.

In the dark office, there was only a man who looked like the boss, smoking and playing with the computer.

He glanced at me casually and said, "You're here? Take a seat."

I pretended to ask some questions casually and he answered.

Soon, I saw a trace of impatience in his eyes.

I knew the opportunity came.

I said understandingly, "Do you have any photos of the bridesmaids at work? I can look at the photos instead of bothering you to answer."

He said without hesitation, "No problem. I'd like you to know ahead of time to save me the trouble later."

He moved the mouse and opened a folder.

"They're all here. Feel free to look. I'll go to the restroom first."

He turned around and left with big strides, without any guard.

I quickly plugged a USB flash drive into the computer and copied the photos into it.

Seeing that he hadn't come back yet, I unplugged the USB flash drive and quickly left.

After returning home, I saved the photos of Cindy and deleted the others.

In my previous life, she caused me so much misery. Now, I want to keep as much of her evidence as possible to prepare for future revenge and protect myself.

Three days later, the gang was terminated by the police just like in my previous life.

This time, it was me who reported them.

I contacted an acquaintance at the TV station in advance to report on this police operation in its entirety.

It was broadcast live.

I shared the live broadcast link in the family group chat.

Pretending to be enthusiastic, I said, "Cindy is in trouble. She was arrested by the police, and it is said to be related to pornography."

Then I tagged everyone.

After the live broadcast ended, everyone in the group was shocked.

[A few days ago, Cindy proudly told me that her job was easy and well-paid. It turns out she was doing this!]

[I have heard of part-time bridesmaids, but they can't earn so much money.]

[I have been asking her to let me join her, but she refused. It turns out to be pornography!]

[It was a live broadcast on a star-rated TV station, and the TV station is paying attention to it. She will not just be detained.]

[She doesn't have any special skills, and her school is not good and she is also lazy. So she can't find a good job. She focuses on getting married and finding a man to support her. Now, it's not easy to find a partner after the live broadcast.]

...

Most of the people in the group were discussing it, and the older generation didn't say much due to their status.

This case was being treated as a typical case by the TV station and the police, and the investigation and trial were being broadcast live.

The verdict was even heavier than In my previous life.

In the courtroom, Cindy had a look of indifference on her face before hearing the verdict.

"Cindy was sentenced to 7 months in prison."

As soon as the words fell, she opened her mouth, showing an expression of disbelief. Her legs went weak and she collapsed to the ground.

The nearby court police quickly helped her up.

I was watching the live broadcast and slapped my thighs when I heard the verdict. Great, I could enjoy peace and quiet for another 7 months.

Immediately, I picked up my phone and booked a high-class restaurant for tonight.

I needed to celebrate.

Cindy's joy had reached the prison.

Whether she was happy or not, I was truly happy!
