Dangerous Marriage Buried Forever
Chapter 1
My husband punished me—his pregnant wife, by forcing me to ride a drop tower fifty times on a typhoon day.
All because his mistress was stuck for five minutes.
"You broke Hailey's leg and now you want to kill her too?"
Only when his mistress needed a blood transfusion did my husband remember me.
"Helena's blood type matches Hailey's. Let's make her a blood bag for Hailey forever!"
Unfortunately, he didn't know that I had no more blood to give her.
I miscarried after the frequent crashes and died on the drop tower three days ago.
I died with my unborn child, bleeding out.
After becoming a spirit, I discovered everything was connected to the roller coaster accident many years ago.
Part 1
Blood was pouring from me as I clutched my stomach, dangling hundreds of feet in the air on a massive machine.
Steve's figure slowly became a tiny black dot. I shouted at him with all my might.
"Honey, please save me! Save our child!"
As if he heard my last plea, Steve stopped. But only to remove his suit jacket and drape it over Hailey's leg.
I completely lost my will to survive and fell into a coma.
As the typhoon approached, the amusement park would be closed for three days.
As the amusement park manager, I checked all the rides and prepared for the typhoon.
When I got to the drop tower, I saw Steve.
I found it odd. Steve owned the park and didn't need to check things himself.
"Helena, I asked Steve to bring me here."
Hailey, my husband's mistress, wheeled herself up to me.
"I haven’t played on the drop tower in ages. Suddenly, I really want to try it today."
"You know how my leg is," she sighed. "The drop tower is the only ride I can go on."
Speaking of her legs, Steve's face instantly darkened, probably recalling the accident six months ago.
Same place, same scene. Hailey unfastened her seatbelt and fell off before the machine could come to a complete stop, causing her legs to become disabled.
But she blamed me, saying that I pulled her down as I tried to save her.
The camera only captured the backs of us entangled together.
I knelt before Steve to explain, but he gave me a cold response.
"Hailey is a dancer. Her legs are her life. Losing them is akin to suicide."
"Helena, even jealousy should have its limits. At your level, you should go to a mental hospital to check your brain."
Steve indeed sent me to a mental hospital.
I was tortured inhumanly there. Half a month later, Steve finally let me out after his father pressured him.
However, I was left with severe depression, requiring long-term medication.
"Just once, okay? Be good, Hailey."
Steve's gentle voice pulled me back to reality. He had never spoken to me like that, so I was susceptible to it.
The giant machine rose and fell, and when it stopped, Hailey looked terrified.
"Steve, my skirt … it's stuck on the seat."
Steve hurriedly stepped forward and pulled a few times but couldn't budge. When he turned to me, his tone changed.
"Helena, come see this."
"How do you maintain these machines? If Hailey gets hurt again, can you handle the consequences?"
Without waiting for my explanation, he grabbed my collar and yanked me over.
