Chapter 2

"She is a sinner. She doesn't deserve a birthday. I have done my best to raise her to this age. Lisa, don't come to me about her in the future. She will bring misfortune."

Lisa cared about me the most, and she immediately started arguing with my dad.

"Bill, it has been years since it happened. Betty is also poor that she lost her mother when she was young."

"Was it my fault? It was she the jinx who killed her mother! Why didn't she die with her mother? Lisa, she killed your sister! You should hate her more than I do!"

My dad's face turned red and he pointed at the dead on the dissection table.

"They are both 20 years old. Why isn't she the one on the dissection table?"

"Dad, as you wished,

"the one lying here is your most hated daughter.

"Mom, dad is so fierce."

When I saw my mother, I would definitely tell her about that.

Lisa was still messaging me.

She told me not to hang around recently.

"It's too late. Auntie, the one lying here is me."

Two days later, my skull was still not found.

Lisa went to the police station and then got a coke from the refrigerator.

When she found the strawberry cake that hadn't been eaten,

she turned around and asked,

"Has Betty not come in the past two days?"

The policemen shook their heads.

She immediately took out her cell phone and sent me a message, but I didn't reply.

She continued to call me.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is powered off..."

Lisa said to herself, "Why the phone is turned off..."

Then she was walking out. When I was thinking what Lisa was going to do,

my dad just came back and the two of them bumped into each other.

My dad glanced at Lisa and asked,

"Has the result of DNA match come out?"

"Not yet. Betty's phone is turned off, and she hasn't responded to the message I sent her."

Just as my dad was about to speak, his cell phone rang.

Lisa looked over immediately.

"Is it Betty?"

It couldn't be mine.

After my dad answered the phone, his expression became more and more serious.

He hung up the phone and glared at Lisa.

"Did you hear that? Betty actually dared to skip classes! She didn't get a scholarship this year, and now she's giving up on herself! I paid for her education, and this is how she repays me."

"Dad, I didn't skip classes.

"Never."

"Bill, that's enough! Betty is still your daughter no matter how bad she is. Are you being worthy of my sister?"

Lisa suddenly turned around, which scared me.

Her eyes turned red and gradually became moist.

When she looked up, my dad swallowed what he was about to say.

"The victim was found on Binji Road. If I remember correctly, Betty's school is on Binji Road, right?"

"Are you finally discovering me?"

My dad waved his hand and said, "You've been too busy lately. What she could be up to? She just blamed me for not celebrating her birthday."

"Didn't you say she doesn't like birthdays?"

"She is just unrealistic. I have to discipline her! Why you are looking at me like that? Okay, I'll make the call."

My dad started calling me.

But Lisa snatched his phone.

"Betty's phone is turned off. What did you do all day? Do you really care about Betty?"

"What else can she do except cause trouble? She is a nuisance! If she has the guts, she should never come home. Otherwise, this time, I must teach her a lesson!"
