Chapter 5

Cassian's knot stayed locked inside me the longest.

It throbbed slow and steady. Each pulse sent fresh heat through my core. My body trembled from the orgasm that had ripped through me. Cum cooled on my chest and stomach. My hole felt raw. Swollen. Stretched beyond what I thought possible.

I could not move. The straps held me open. Exposed.

I stared at the ceiling beams. Chains glinted in the firelight. My breath came in short, shaky pulls.

Cassian finally softened enough to pull out.

He did it gently. Slow withdrawal. Slick and cum followed in a thick rush. It spilled onto the leather and pooled under me. The emptiness hit hard. My walls fluttered, trying to close. I could not quite manage it yet.

He stood. Tucked himself away without a word. His amber eyes lingered on me one moment longer. Then he stepped back.

Thorne moved first.

He crouched beside the bench. Unfastened the ankle straps. Rough hands but careful enough not to tear skin. Aurelius did the wrists. Faster. Less patient.

When the last strap fell away I tried to sit up. Legs shook. Arms weak. I collapsed back down.

Aurelius caught me under the arms. Lifted me like I weighed nothing. Carried me to a pile of thick furs near the hearth. Laid me down on my side. The warmth of the fire licked my skin. Soothing. Almost kind.

I curled in on myself. Tried to hide the mess between my legs. The ache. The shame.

Thorne knelt in front of me.

He tilted my chin up. Forced eye contact.

"You took all three of us," he said, voice low. "No one has ever done that on their first night."

I swallowed. Throat dry. "I did not choose this."

"No," he agreed. "But your body did."

Aurelius dropped down behind me. Pressed against my back. His arm draped over my waist. Heavy. Possessive. His cock, soft now, nestled against my ass as a reminder.

Cassian sat cross-legged nearby. Watched. Silent as always. But his presence filled the space.

Thorne reached for a cloth from a nearby basin filled with warm water. He wiped my chest in slow strokes, cleaning his own cum, Aurelius's, and mine. Then lower. Between my thighs. Gentle pressure on my swollen rim. I hissed.

"Easy," he murmured. "You're going to be sore."

I glared. "Good."

Aurelius chuckled against my neck. Breath hot. "Defiant even now. Cute."

Thorne finished cleaning me. Tossed the cloth aside.

He leaned in. Lips brushed my ear.

"Here are the rules, little omega. Listen close."

I tensed.

"One: You stay in the den. No running. No hiding. We will always find you."

"Two: You eat when we say. Sleep when we say. Come when we say."

"Three: You belong to us. All of us. No favorites. No secrets."

He pulled back. Eyes hard. "Break any rule and there will be punishment. And trust me, you will not like our idea of punishment."

Aurelius nuzzled my neck. Teeth grazed skin. "Or maybe you will. Eventually."

Cassian finally spoke again, voice quiet.

"You are safe here."

I laughed. Bitter. Short. "Safe?"

He met my eyes. Steady.

"Safe from the world outside, not from us."

Thorne stood.

"Rest now. Tomorrow we start training you properly."

Training. The word landed like a stone in my gut.

Aurelius pulled a thick fur blanket over us. Tucked it around my body. His arm stayed locked around my waist. Thorne settled on my other side. Cassian stayed close. Watching.

I lay between them.

Three alphas.

Three claims burned into my skin. My hole. My soul.

Exhaustion pulled at me. Heavy. Relentless.

My eyes drifted shut despite everything.

In the dark behind my lids I saw it.

The raid. The chase. The bench. The knots.

And deeper still: the part of me that had clenched around each of them. That had moaned. That had come apart.

I hated that part.

But it was there.

Growing.

Sleep took me.

Dreams came fast: hot, wet, full of growls, hands, and knots locking tight.

When I woke hours later the fire had died to embers.

Thorne's arm was still around me. Aurelius snored softly behind. Cassian sat watch. Eyes open. Amber glow in the dim light.

I did not move.

Did not speak.

Just felt it.

The weight of them.

The ache inside me.

The slow, terrifying realization.

This was only the beginning.

Then I heard it.

A low, distant howl from outside the den. Not one of their pack. Not familiar.

It carried on the wind, sharp and challenging.

Thorne's arm tightened instantly. His body went rigid.

Aurelius woke with a growl. Cassian was already on his feet, blade in hand.

The howl came again. Closer this time.

Thorne's voice cut through the dark, low and lethal.

"They found us.
