Cinderella's Revenge

Miracle prepared the cooked meals for her husband. She prepared his favorite food to relieve his fatigue from work.

She knows how stressful her husband's work is. Being the owner of a big company is a big responsibility. That's why he just pays attention to it whenever he is hurt.

It's tired. That's probably the reason why it's laying a hand on him.

"He's here," she whispered when she heard the sound of the door.

He quickly removed the apron from the body before meeting the wife.

"Hey, how are you?" Miracle asked Trigger while smiling sweetly.

The irritation immediately passed in his wife's eyes. The tension in his jaw did not escape his stare.

"Get out of my way," he said coldly.

Miracle quickly blocked her husband's path. "But h-you haven't eaten yet, Trigger. Your favorite cooked for you. Come on, h-eat first."

Miracle shut her eyes closed when he pulled her arm aggressively. He felt anger at Trigger's grip.

"You don't fucking tell me what to do, Miracle. Don't act like my wife, I hate what you're doing. You can't order me around, fucking whore," she whispered angrily to him before letting him go. .

Miracle opened her eyes to stare at her husband with eyebrows raised as she stared at him. It's angry again.

He bent down to apologize. "I'm sorry, Trigger. I'm just worried about you because you might be hungry."

Her husband stopped talking. He just rolled his eyes in a manly way. It passed him and went straight up to their room.

Miracle sighed deeply before composing herself. "He's mad at me again. You're a fool, Miracle. Why are you forcing him? Maybe she's scared, "she whispered to herself.

He just went straight to the kitchen to put away the food he cooked. She's hoping that Trigger will eat breakfast tomorrow. It just doesn't always go with him to eat.

After storing all the food in the kitchen, she quickly locked the main door and the back door.

When he was sure that everything was in order, he went up to his room with his wife. She's actually thankful that she and Trigger are just together in the same room. Even if it ignores her, atleast the husband is just close to her.

She's always having nightmares about Trigger hitting her. About her father hurting her physically. She always has nightmares that two important men in her life are hurting her. So whenever she wakes up and sees her husband sleeping peacefully, she is complacent.

No noise Miracle climbed into bed before watching the husband leaning on the headboard and reading a book.

"You haven't m-slept yet?" she asked him.

His wife did not answer.

She sighed before smiling bitterly. "When you're n-hungry, just go down to the kitchen. I put the food in the refrigerator. Or g-just wake me up so I can heat the food."

It still didn't speak to him. Miracle just ignored her quiet husband. Every time he talks to her, she doesn't really answer. He was just like a ghost in front of it.

"Prepare food for tomorrow morning. Mom and dad will be here," he said coldly.

Miracle turned to her husband. "All right." She smiled sweetly. "Are they with mommy and daddy?"

He nodded at her question and turned his attention back to reading the book.

Miracle just layed down on the bed before covering her body with the blanket. She couldn't help but be excited for tomorrow.

Her mother and father-in-law are one of the best parents she ever knew. She is happy every time they treat her like she is a real child.

And one more thing, his parents don't interrupt and speak badly of him whenever Trigger's parents are there.

She get used to it, her own parents insulting her, that's normal for her. He just puts up with all the words it utters to him.

But when she met Trigger's parents, all her fears disappeared. They erase all the pain he is experiencing.

"Trigger," she called her husband's name silently.

"What?" its a cold question.

"Your parents, I like them so much," she whispered while smiling. "You know what's the best thing that happened to me when I got the chance to be your wife? It's having a chance to meet your parents. You're very lucky to have them."

That was the last thing he said before he finally fell asleep.

"Miracle! Ija! Gosh, I miss you so much!" Smiling, the woman hugged the lady who had just entered the door.

She smiled sweetly while her mother-in-law, Yians, is busy with combing her soft hair. "Auntie. I really miss you too! It's been a long time since you last visited here," Miracle uttered while pouting her lips.

Cronus, Trigger's father, let out a chuckle. "I'm sorry, Miracle. You're on vacation in Paris so we can't get here. How are you, by the way? "

He kissed her cheek so she hugged the man back. "I'm o-okay, uncle. Everything's going well. You?"

The beautiful lady smiled at him. "We enjoyed staying in Paris. So I just went home right away to see you! 'Didn't you promise me that you'll paint my portrait? I can't wait to pose infront of you!" Her mother-in-law giggled.

Miracle laughed at what the other person said. "Oh, aunt. I think you will be my favorite model. I will make my painting very beautiful with you," she said while smiling.

"Why, why wasn't I part of that? It's frustrating, ha!" Cronus grunted.

Yians scolded his wife. "Miracle's talent is exclusively for me! I don't want him to paint you because you're ugly!"

The man laughed. "Oh come on, my dear wife, our children inherited from me. So look at the faces of our nine shameless children, the handsome ones. Who else will inherit? Edi to the father," it boasted.

Miracle giggled while watching her in laws. It has always been arguing over who the children inherited from.

"Auntie, uncle. Come to the kitchen, I cooked your favorites," Miracle said.

"Oh sweetheart, you don't have to cook for us. But I missed your cooking so I'll go there!" Yians exclaimed bubbly.

Miracle was about to answer when the main door opened, her parents entered the house.

The smile on Miracle's lips immediately disappeared when she saw her parents.

She's hoping that they won't insult her in front of Trigger's parents. She's hoping.
