Cinderella And Her Bossy Master
Chapter 5
Her hand was grabbed by Brian, and it hurt very much when she moved. She had to relax and look at the man in front of her.
Even though his handsome face was expressionless, his eyes showed dissatisfaction. He lowered his head, and as he saw her delicate neck and exposed clavicle, his displeasure deepened.
"What's the matter with you?"
He didn't speak. So Ivy had to ask him first. Her voice sounded obedient.
He was still silent. He just lowered his head and slowly approached her neck. When he wanted to gave her a large love bite, Ivy suddenly said, "Don't leave a mark on my neck. I'll go to the celebration later."
Her voice was very soft, with some obedient flattery and supplication.
He smiled. His action still didn't stop, but it was changed to kiss.
When the slight tingling feeling came, Ivy's eyebrows immediately frowned and couldn't help humming.
Just in time, a voice suddenly came from outside the compartment, "Did you just see the man under the stage?"
"Who are you talking about?"
"Brian Smith! The general manager of Smith Group!"
The voice of strange women made the man smile softly and let go of Ivy's hands.
"Oh, really? I wasn't even aware. Is he alone?"
- after leaving his love bite on Ivy's neck, the man straightened up with satisfaction.
"No, there's a young woman with him, Maybe his girlfriend. There's a little girl as well and she went backstage. I heard she is the niece of that young woman."
-- Women outside were still discussing, but the man in front of Ivy suddenly turned around. Ivy's expression changed suddenly as she saw him about to open the door and go out, and her hands grabbed him without even thinking!
Brian raised his eyebrows and looked at her.
Ivy's brows furrowed tightly, and her slender fingers gripped his wrist.
"Oh, I thought he came for Ivy Hill."
-- Ivy didn't expect her name to show up this way. She was stunned.
"Ivy Hill? Does she have something to do with Brian?"
"I'm not sure, but I've heard the head say before that she seems to live in his house. Her mother is a servant of Smith or something."
"I see." The woman snorted coldly, "Seeing her arrogant appearance, I thought she was from a good family. Unexpectedly, she was a nanny's daughter."
-- her hands that pinched him trembled slightly.
"Most men like the type of her now. Kevin sent her flowers just before, and I heard they've been getting close recently."
"I knew it! It must be Kevin's help that she got promoted to Principal Cellist right after graduation."
"Their relationship is ambiguous. This kind of woman is arrogant on the surface but very coquettish on the inside..."
Women's voices gradually faded away, and the hands holding Brian were also released.
But Brian didn't hurry and left, just looking at her expressionless.
Ivy knew what he was angry about and quickly said, "they're talking nonsense. There's nothing between Kevin and me, really."
Brian narrowed his eyes.
Ivy knew that no matter how much she explained at this time, it was just futile. She stopped talking and looked at him sincerely.
After a while, he finally said, "Fine, I trust you."
She finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Don't go to the celebration party in the evening. I'll take you to another place."
He turned and opened the door of the compartment. "I'll pick you up. Don't run around, understood?"
"But..."
Ivy wanted to say something else, but the man's eyes suddenly became sharp. She had to swallow her words, "Understood."
