Chapter 1

In the house of the Smith clan of Aurora City.

Ivy Hill just went in and saw Mrs Smith. She was sitting on the sofa directing workers to decorate things. Ivy's mother, Sarah, was helping Mrs Smith pour a cup of tea with her back bent.

"Hello, Ivy! You are back!"

Mrs Smith saw her first and said hello to her initiatively.

Ivy quickly lowered her head, "Hello, madam."

"Ivy is so beautiful! I heard that she was promoted to the chief cellist by the orchestra? You are so lucky to have an excellent daughter like Ivy, Sarah!" Mrs Smith said with a smile.

It seemed that she was in a good mood today.

Sarah raised her eyes and looked at Ivy. She replied softly, "You flattered me, madam. It's you who is the lucky one. Your son is so much better than Ivy."

Mrs Smith got happier after hearing Sarah praise her son, Brian Smith. "Brian is excellent. But his marriage gives me a headache. I truly want Ivy to be my daughter-in-law if she is of suitable age."

Everyone here knew it was a little exaggerated.

Sarah even turned pale. She couldn't say a word because of her simple character. Fortunately, Ivy's reaction was quick enough, she hurriedly said, "Please don't make fun of me, madam. I don't deserve your son at all."

Obviously, What Mrs Smith said was a joke. Mrs Smith turned her eyes elsewhere after a smile. "That flower should be cut shorter. Well, put it here." She said to workers.

Mrs Smith no longer paid attention to Ivy, and Ivy didn't stay here any longer. She just silently carried her instrument box to the room.

Her room and Sarah's room were on the first floor of this house.

Because Ivy had been living here for many years and Mrs Smith may truly have some "pity" for Ivy. So Ivy had a room, but the illumination there was very poor, and she couldn't see much sunshine in the usual.

After putting the instrument away, Ivy lay on the bed.

She hadn't slept well for several days because of the performance with the orchestra. So she quickly slept in this small space of her own.

In the hazy moment, she seemed to hear the lively voice outside, it should be the young master, Brian, who had returned.

Then the cell phone next to her pillow began to vibrate.

Ivy didn't look at the caller ID, half narrowed her eyes and answered the phone, "Hello?"

Her voice was hoarse and soft. After a slight pause, the man on the phone smiled and said, "Come here."

Ivy woke up suddenly. After taking a look at the caller ID and confirming that it was right, she said yes and got up to put on her coat.

The night was deep.

The whole house was quiet. Ivy went to Sarah first. After making sure Sarah was asleep, she crept up the stairs.

That man's room was on the third floor.

The vision was excellent so it should be well-lit.

It was just her guess, because she never came here during the day.

Her steps were already very light, but he was waiting at the stairs, so as soon as Ivy stepped on the ground, her whole body was dragged by him.

His warm body pressed in front of her, behind her was the cold wall.

Ivy wanted to say something, but the moment she opened her mouth, the man's kiss had covered her lips, one hand was clinging to her waist, and the other hand had taken off her coat.

Ivy was afraid of the cold. When her clothes fell to the ground, she couldn't help sticking closer to that man's body. That man was very satisfied with this. After a slight smile, he picked her up and walked directly to his room.

In the moonlight, the man's handsome face was above Ivy. The shape of Ivy was clearly reflected in his deep eyes. Although his body's temperature was very high and they stuck very close. She couldn't see any desire in his eyes.

There was only peace, even indifference in his eyes.

Ivy's hand gently touched his cheek and said, "Brian."

The man smiled with satisfaction, bowed his head and kissed her.
