CEO's Disguised Wife

Leo and Barbara looked at each other, and once again, the atmosphere became awkward because they didn't know what to say.

"You do your job first. I still have some matters to deal with." Barbara was always optimistic, but somehow, the moment she met Leo, she was at a loss for what to do.

"Alright." Leo nodded and walked towards the study room.

Barbara glanced at him, then returned to her room to prepare the information she needed for tomorrow's work.

After two hours, Barbara turned off the phone and rubbed her aching forehead. She got up and went out, and when she opened the door, she saw Leo who had just came out of the bathroom.

He was wearing a white robe his short black hair dripping, and he looked very cold.

"It's getting late. Hurry up and go wash up." He barely looked at her as he walked into the room.

Barbara was at a loss of what to do. It seemed that he was planning to sleep with her tonight. But … but she felt that she could not quite accept him.

Thinking of this, Barbara felt very nervous.

After washing in the bathroom for half an hour, Barbara finally came out. She found a pair of long—sleeved pajamas and wrapped herself tightly. 

When she returned to her room, she did not see Leo, and could not help but quietly relieve. However, Leo walked in.

There was a faint smell of tobacco with him. He probably went to smoke on the balcony just now. He didn't hide the fact that he smoked, but He thoughtfully did not smoke in the area where she appeared.

"Go to sleep." Leo got onto the bed first, lay on the right side of the bed, and left the position on the left for Barbara.

"Oh, good …" Barbara was so nervous that she stammered and sweat. She crawled onto the bed from the other side and laid down on Leo's left side.

The big bed was two meters wide, and there was clearly a distance between them. But Barbara felt that she was tightly surrounded by Leo's breath.

"I'm going to sleep. Good night!" She quickly closed her eyes, hoping she would fall asleep in the shortest time.

Barbara couldn't sleep because she had been woolgathering. She wondered if he would do something to her while she was asleep.

But thinking about it, even if Leo really wanted to do something to her, it would be normal. After all, they were already husband and wife.

With this thought in mind, Barbara felt very nervous. Maybe he sensed Barbara's nervousness, but Leo suddenly caressed her head, "Barbara, even though we are husband and wife, I will not force you to do things that you are unwilling to do."

His voice still sounded as sexy and pleasant as usual, but Barbara felt awkward and blushed. Could this man not be so sensitive?......

With Leo's guarantee, Barbara gradually relaxed, and fell asleep soon. When she woke up, it was already dawn. 

Barbara grabbed her phone to check the time, and then she exclaim, "Oh, no!"Her alarm would ring on time at seven o'clock from Monday to Friday morning. Was it broken or was she too sleepy to hear it?

"You're awake." Leo said in a low voice, "I saw that it was still early, so I turned off your alarm clock and let you sleep a little longer." 

As Leo spoke, Barbara realized that he was in the room. She looked up and saw Leo, who had well—dressed, sitting on the sofa. He casually flipped through the newspaper. 

He seemed to have been waiting for her for a long time."Um, wait for me for a moment, I'll go make breakfast as soon as possible." 

Barbara scratched her head and jumped off the bed, rushing into the bathroom in a panic.

"Breakfast is ready. I'll wait for you to eat." Leo said in a low voice, and for a moment, Barbara didn't know how to respond.

As Barbara was frightened, Leo couldn't help smiling slightly. Was Barbara really the vixenish girl who got drunk and scolded him for three hours and threw up all over him?...... 

After Barbara finished washing, she went to the dining hall and changed her work attire. She was in a White shirt and a short black skirt. The dress fit her perfectly, making her look a bit more mature than her real age.

As he saw Barbara, Leo was amazed by her. He quietly looked away and sat down to eat breakfast. 

Therefore, Leo's first order as the president of innovation and technology was to change out of his company's female staffs' short skirts into trousers. 

Noticing the delicious breakfast on the table, Barbara laughed, "Did you make all of this?" 

He told her last night that he didn't know how to cook, what was this? Wasn't it amazing that he could cook such a delicious breakfast in just one night?

He knew what Barbara thought, Leo passed the warm milk to her, and said at the same time, "It was sent by my servant.”

Leo was scrupulously clean, and he was extremely picky with food. Normally, he wouldn't eat outside, so the servant who was in charge of his daily life had made preparations in advance.

"It looks delicious." Barbara sat down and took a bite, "It's really delicious."It melted fragrant. It was even more delicious than she had expected.

"Yes." Leo lightly said, but he did not give a reply, looking extremely cold. 

As Leo did not say anything, Barbara picked up another piece of dessert and ate.

After eating another piece of dessert, Barbara quietly glanced at Leo. He looked so elegant, and she could not help thinking of the nobles of England. He didn't have to do anything intentionally, but he would always inadvertently show his elegance and noble.

"Is there something on my face?" Leo suddenly said wonderingly.

"No, no." She was caught by peeping him again, then she turned blushed as she quickly looked down and ate breakfast.

"If these breakfasts were to your taste, I'll have my servant prepare them like this in the future." After a long while, Leo said again. 

Barbara said apologetically, "Actually, you don't need to do this for me."

Leo put down his chopsticks, wiped his mouth with a tissue and said, "You are my wife."

"Oh, okay." Barbara did not refute him anymore, because Leo's excuse made her soften. She was his wife, and he was her husband. They would be husband and wife for the rest of their lives.

As Barbara ate delicious snacks and drank the warm milk, she couldn't help thinking God had been kind to her, giving her opportunity to gain happiness.
