CEO's Disguised Wife

When Barbara returned to the office of Business Department, she heard her colleagues in the same department discussing about the new CEO.

Everyone discussed as if they understood this new CEO very well.

When her colleague Emily saw Barbara, she hurriedly came over, "Barbara, you're lucky to be able to stand by CEO's side and work as soon as possible.

"Barbara smiled lightly, "It's all work, I don't care where I stay. 

If you think it's good to work around the president, let the manager send you there if something like this happens in the future.

" Emily quickly waved, "Although our new CEO is handsome and enchanting, but we dare not to come close to him.

""New CEO will come over later for a routine inspection. Return to your positions and work hard." Business Department Manager, Amy, walked into the office and instructed the staffs.

The new CEO would be here to patrol!Hearing this news, Barbara felt very nervous.She still needed some time to admit the fact that her newly wedded husband, Leo, was still the new CEO of the company. 

She wouldn't be ready to face him in a short while.The other colleagues had all returned to their seats, but only Barbara was still standing there, stunned. 

Amy looked at Barbara, "Barbara, what else do you want?""I'm fine." Barbara came back to reality and secretly clenched her fists, she immediately went back to her computer to check her customer information. 

After a while, the elevator rang and Leo once again appeared in front of Barbara under the escort of a group of people.

But thankfully, Leo had only greeted the department staffs, and after hearing Amy's simple report, he led the group of people away. 

After Leo left, the Business department staffs became rowdy again. Even Amy who was always sedate could not help gossiping with everyone.

Everyone was talking about whether this extremely handsome Chief Executive Officer was unmarried or married.

Barbara listened to their discussion and did not say a word. If they found out that her name was written on his marriage certificate, would she be killed by these women?The day finally passed in a tense and uneasy condition. 

She wasn't ready to leave until her colleagues got off work.When the day's work was over, how should she face Leo at night?Barbara really did not know, and did not even know whether or not she should return to their home.

After leaving the company, Barbara habitually turned right at the entrance B of the subway technology park. After walking for a while, she remembered that she was living with her newly wedded husband. 

Leo's apartment wasn't far from the technology park. It was only three bus stops away, and it was about half an hour's walk. Barbara looked at the time. 

It was only five o'clock now, and she had not decided how to face Leo in any case. 

She decided to walk home, as she could think about them.Returning back to the housing estate below, Barbara decided to buy some vegetables and meat from the fresh supermarket located at the side. 

Whatever, the most important thing was to eat.She didn't know what Leo liked to eat, but she took out her phone to ask him. 

But she was worried that he couldn't pick up the phone expediently, she placed her phone back.After choosing the ingredients, she carried them and went home.

She still kept quite a distance away from the elevator when Barbara saw a strange but familiar man. He stood straight towards the elevator, wearing a light gray suit. 

He looked extremely charming.Leo stood perfectly straight. He was tall and looked perfect.Barbara still couldn't understand. 

Such an outstanding man, and even the CEO of a large company, how could they meet each other?"You're back." Barbara walked over and greeted him in the most normal way possible."Yes." Leo turned to look at her, but she looked calm.

Barbara smiled lightly, and stood firmly by his side.She only glanced at him once and felt that this man seemed to be different today. She couldn't recall exactly where he was different. She glanced at him. 

It turned out that he wore a pair of gold—framed glasses today. He looked much more stable and reserved.Barbara sighed silently. 

This man only spoke a few more words during their second meeting. He usually said very little. She wanted to take the initiative and get closer to him, but she didn't know how to do it. 

Now that she knew of his shocking identity, Barbara didn't know how she should approach him.Just as she was thinking, Leo suddenly reached out towards her. 

Barbara instinctively took a small step back, keeping a distance from him."Leave it to me." He said lightly and took the bag in her hand optionally. 

Barbara blushed. He had only wanted to help her carry the bag, but she was delusional. 

As Leo carried the bag powerfully, she felt warm. Barbara was optimistic. Even if there was no love between them, even if he was the big boss of the company, but as long as they managed this marriage attentively, they would still live a happy life.

They entered the elevator, and neither of them spoke. Returning home, Leo placed the items into the kitchen and said indifferently, "I don't really know how to cook, I'll be troubling you tonight."

"Go ahead. Just leave it to me." Barbara put away the bag, took off her jacket and put it on.

"Thank you!" He said lightly.

"You're too polite." Barbara smiled awkwardly. They were already husband and wife, but they got along like two strangers. She took it for granted that wife should cook for her husband, but he talked to her in this manner, which virtually made them became strange. 

Barbara thought that even if it was a marriage without love, they shouldn't get along in such a strange way. 

Without another word, she turned and entered the kitchen. She neatly steamed rice, cooked and washed the vegetables…

After a while, Barbara saw him standing at the entrance of the kitchen, and asked, "What's wrong?"

"If there's anything you need my help, just let me know." Leo stood there, straight and upright. He looked calm, but he looked a little embarrassed. 

"Just wait a little longer, I'll be ready soon." Barbara looked at the clock on the wall. It was already 7:30 in the evening, so he was probably hungry.

She thought that she had to come straight back from work tomorrow. She would finish the meal early, and when he returned home, he would eat the food she cook.

No matter who Leo was, this marriage was chosen by herself. She had to try her best to live a good life.
