Caught My Wife Flirting with Her Friend
Chapter 3
At this moment, I realized that James might have returned home from abroad.
They had been in touch with each other all the time!
I wanted to question Yvonne.
But I felt so tired to speak.
We had only been married for more than a year, but I was already exhausted.
After that, Yvonne said that she'd go on a business trip and not be home for a few days.
I didn't ask her any question but simply replied, "Okay."
I knew she was lying to me,
Because she never needed to go on a business trip!
She was lying to me, because she wanted to have fun with her lover every night.
I just didn't want to expose her lies.
I didn't care about her anymore.
At eight o'clock in the evening, Yvonne still hadn't returned.
If it were in the past, when she didn't go home so late, I would call her like crazy. I was afraid that she would be asked for WhatsApp or hit on. I was even more afraid that she would get drunk outside and be taken home by someone else.
But at this point...
Even if she died outside, it had nothing to do with me.
I turned off my phone and fell asleep.
At some point, the sound of the door opening woke me up.
Yvonne commanded me as usual.
"Leo, get up and get me a glass of water."
If it were in the past, I would have boiled water for her, set a perfect temperature of the bathroom, and prepared desserts and fruits for her.
I replied casually, "I'm sleeping. Don't disturb me."
As soon as she walked into the bedroom, a strong smell of alcohol emanated from her body.
"Are you jealous again?
How many times have I told you not to be so sensitive?"
She thought that I was angry about what had happened at the wedding.
"As you can see, at that time, as a bridesmaid, I could only sit with the best man."
"Is kissing necessary?" I sneered.
Yvonne huffed, "That's just a little trick arranged by the host. Furthermore, James was so drunk, I had no choice but send him back."
I smiled.
There were so many people, but why did she have to send James home?
In the past, when were in school, James was the best drinker!
It was impossible for Yvonne not to see that James was pretending to be drunk.
"You can do whatever you want. No need to explain it to me."
"What do you mean?"
"You heard it."
Yvonne frowned, sensing that something wasn't right with me today.
After all, if it were in the past, she could have dealt with me with just a few words.
"Leo, what's wrong with you today? Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed?"
I said calmly, "I'm fine, better than ever!"
"Stop messing around, okay!"
Yvonne was a bit anxious.
"I told you I'm fine! You shouldn't have come back tonight. It's good to sleep with James. Isn't that what you want most?"
"You said you weren't jealous!"
"Hurry to boil some water for me. I'm sweaty and uncomfortable!"
"She fooled around with James outside. But now, she wants me to treat her same as before?"
What a joke!
"I told you I wanted to sleep!"
In a fit of anger, Yvonne threw my quilt to the ground.
"Get up and get me some water. Do you hear me!"
I sprang to my feet.
"Yvonne, ever since I married you, I've never mistreated you. So, I don't owe you anything! Let's mind our own business. Don't force me to expose you."
Finally, Yvonne couldn't hold it in any longer and exploded.
"Are you crazy?! Leo, I've been so nice to you that you don't respect me that much. If you want a divorce, just say it!"
I sneered in my heart. Every time she didn't go home at night or even stayed out all night, all she cared about was whether I had prepared any sweets and foot-washing water for her or not.
She could always make use of my concern to find out what she was dissatisfied with and cover up her mistakes by accusing me.
I was tired of listening to her excuses!
"Let's divorce!"
"What did you say??"
Yvonne was stunned.
Then, she suddenly threw her bag at me.
"You said it yourself. Don't regret it!"
She had played hard to get countless times.
"Will I?"
I would only regret it if I was crazy!
Early the next morning, Yvonne was completely drunk.
The man who sent her back was her ex-boyfriend, James.
As soon as she opened the door, James was very dissatisfied.
"How did you take care of Yvonne? What if someone evil take her home, when she went out to drink at night?"
"Humph, Yvonne.
It sounds so intimate."
I casually replied, "Wy do I have to worry about her? You're there for her, aren't you?"
James frowned, "You're not worried, but do you know what she said when she was drunk?"
"What does it have to do with me?"
He said angrily, "She cried and said that as long as you forgive her, she will never see me again!"
"Isn't that normal?" I said flatly, "She shouldn't have anything to do with you anyway. Since you're be together, I can divorce her. Just get to the point. Don't try to hide it from me!"
"I know you're not happy about my relationship with Yvonne, but do you know that she's pregnant? Shouldn't you listen to her all the time?"
I sneered, "Why?"
James was a little angry and pointed at my chest.
"Why? Since she married you and is pregnant with your child, you have to take good care of her!
She's your wife!"
If I didn't know the truth, I might have believed his nonsense.
For a moment, I allowed them to be intimate in front of me. They really thought I was weak and easily bullied.
I impatiently slapped his hand away.
"Wow, you know that she's my wife."
I stared straight into his eyes, "Do you know that the child in her belly is not mine?"
James's expression changed drastically.
"What did you say?"
