Car Borrowing Controversy Chapter 1

After my colleague got pregnant, she borrowed my car and went to the hospital for a prenatal examination.

Her husband ran a red light while driving on his cell phone and got into an accident, causing her to miscarry.

I didn't ask them to pay for the damage to my car, but I went to the hospital to visit her and gave her $800.

But they blamed it on me. After my colleague was discharged from the hospital, she and her husband came to my house on a stormy day, pushed me off the balcony, and announced to others that I was blown downstairs by the strong wind.

When I opened my eyes again, time went back to the day when my colleague borrowed my car to go to the hospital.

——

"Please, it's going to rain tomorrow. Please lend me your car, otherwise, I won't be able to do prenatal check-ups."

Lana Truman's chubby hand shook my arm, and I realized that I had been reborn!

She started to beg me just like she did in my previous life. She and I lived in the same neighborhood, and she often took my car to and from work, so I agreed without hesitation.

It was just that her husband was playing with his cell phone while driving, ran a red light, and crashed into a car, causing her to have a miscarriage.

I didn't ask them to compensate for the damage to my car. Instead, I gave her $800 and bought some fruit to visit her in the hospital.

But after Lana was discharged from the hospital, she and her husband came to my house and threw me off the balcony!

Thinking of this, I couldn't help trembling and immediately refused, "No way!"

Lana's confident face suddenly became embarrassed. She quickly looked around and then whispered, "Hey, you weren't like this before. Why didn't you lend it to me?"

I said coldly, "I don't want to lend it to you."

Since she became pregnant, my car has been borrowed by her every week for prenatal check-ups. In fact, many times they were not going for prenatal check-ups, but her husband drove out to play.

I didn't know about it at first, and they didn't tell me either. I only found out about it when the highway toll bill was deposited into my account.

In the past, I didn't take it seriously. I just felt that they didn't live well, so I let them be. But now it seemed that they regarded me as a sucker.

Lana didn't expect me to be so determined. "I wanted you to be my child's godmother, but now it seems that there's no need. No godmother is as stingy as you!"

As she spoke, she cried and complained, "I've always regarded you as my best friend, but I didn't expect that you wouldn't even lend me your car. I didn't use your car for free. Didn't I buy things for you to express my gratitude? Alas, I give true heart to someone who doesn't know..."

A colleague next to us made a noise, "Who doesn't how to be grateful!"

I laughed scornfully. "You always return the car at night and give me some bread for breakfast the next day. You used up the full tank of gas in my car without filling it up. Damn it, I am the one who has given my true heart to someone who doesn't how to be grateful."

I turned to his colleague who was speaking up for Lana and shouted, "You're a grateful person. Then lend her your new car?"

The colleague lowered his head and continued to work sulkily.

Lana looked innocent. "Jolene, believe it or not, I've always regarded you as my best friend. I don't know why you have such a big misunderstanding about me. I need to calm down and think about whether I want to be friends with you."

"Don't be so shameless," I said coldly, "Don't borrow my car anymore and you should return all my previous gas and highway toll fees to me."

Lana quickly left. "Are you crazy? What are you talking about? I don't understand at all. You are crazy about money."
