Broken Love, Broken Trust
Broken Love, Broken Trust Chapter 1
Hector Stone was unexpectedly discovered by a talent scout and entered showbiz when he was a sophomore in college.
He was knowledgeable in rock music and musical instruments.
Moreover, he had gained numerous fans with his handsome face.
He wore the cheap ring I gave him during our university days on his finger.
In the eyes of his fans, I, Mia Buckley, was the apple of his eye.
But on my birthday, I unexpectedly discovered that Hector was secretly dating another girl behind my back.
My eight years of love ultimately scattered in the wind.

A black sports car stopped outside Century Building.
Hector, wearing sunglasses, opened the car door from the left side and carefully helped me down from the car on the other side.
After the driver drove away, Hector held my hand and entered the building.
In a high-end clothing store, a store attendant in formal attire came to me with a white dress in hand and said, "Ms. Buckley? This is the dress that Mr. Stone had specially customized for you by the world's most famous designer a month ago. Try it on and see if you like it."
I glanced at Hector, who took off his sunglasses and smiled at me, gesturing for me to change clothes quickly.
I took the dress from the store attendant and immediately ran excitedly into the fitting room.
While trying on the dress, I heard two store attendants outside talking about me and Hector.
One of the store attendants said with envy, "Although I have been working here for a while and have seen many celebrities, it's the first time I've seen such a handsome superstar like Hector. Ms. Buckley is really lucky. Her boyfriend is not only handsome but also rich."
"Ms. Buckley is just as perfect. She's pretty, and I heard she's the campus belle of a certain university. She and Hector have been in love since college. Originally, Ms. Buckley wanted to become a big star, too, but acting involves kissing scenes. Maybe she was afraid that Hector would get jealous, so she changed her career and became his manager," another store attendant said.
Then she continued, "I've searched online. Today is her birthday. Besides, they've been together for so long. Will Hector propose tonight?"
Another store attendant's eyes lit up. "Gee, I'm so addicted to those two. They must be together forever. I'll be heartbroken if they break up."
Listening to their conversation, I smiled and shook my head. Today was indeed my birthday.
But I never expected that the store attendant's words about breaking up would come true that same night. Hector didn't propose to me. He betrayed me.
When I opened the door and went out, Hector was standing not far away, picking clothes.
Seeing me come out, he immediately walked up to me.
Hector was tall and thin. I was 5.5 feet tall, but I still had to raise my head to look at him when standing in front of him.
"Well? How do I look?" I looked at him expectantly.
Hector gently stroked my head and said affectionately, "Mia, you will be the most beautiful bride in the world."
Bride? Proposal?
The two store attendants standing beside us excitedly held each other's hands.
They looked thrilled. I seemed to have heard them say "I'm so addicted to those two" once again.
I blushed and lowered my head.
After I changed my dress, he took me to the barber shop to have my hair styled.
Hector had always been patient and gentle with me. No matter how much time I spent on makeup, he always sat on the sofa, read magazines, and waited for me.
