Breakup Caused By a Car Accident
Chapter 6
However, he abandoned me immediately and even called me to blame me later.
Kayne probably wanted to end the deadlock between us today.
He said again patiently, "I know I should call you and ask about your situation. It's my fault."
He put the things down and caught up with me.
"Olivia, to make up for it, I'll take you to my show, okay?
"Your arm is injured and you can't go to work. This time, I will only take you with me."
Kayne's show was taboo for me.
When I first met him, he wasn't very famous.
I accompanied him all the way.
However, he never intended to make our relationship public.
Even when I went to his concert, he was unwilling to tell his band friends and staff that I was his girlfriend.
I was just a girlfriend whom he didn't want to admit. Why should I go to his show?
So I said, “No, I’m busy.”
"What are you busy for?" Kayne asked.
I didn't want to bring up the past, but he thought he had given the greatest forgiveness to me.
"You never took the initiative to say hello to my friends every time you met them, and you didn't dress to match theirs. How could I introduce you?"
I pushed the bathroom door open. "So I said I'm not going. I don't want to know them."
I didn't fit in with them. I did research and had always liked quietness.
If it weren't for Kayne, I wouldn't have dressed up in the way I didn't like and gone to his show.
Hearing my words, Kayne finally got angry.
He slammed the bathroom door shut. "I gave you a chance but you didn't want it. Olivia, You're so boring!"
I washed my face and brushed my teeth, ignoring him.
I had to go to bed early tonight because I would go to the lab early tomorrow morning.
I hadn't done research for a long time, so I was a little nervous.
I kept thinking about the process in the materials in my mind.
Thinking about the experimental data all night, I had no time to think about Kayne.
He just came back when I pushed the door open early in the morning.
He looked a little strange. "You're going out even though your arm is injured?"
I nodded. "I have something to do."
He followed me. "I'll take you there."
He looked like he hadn't slept all night, maybe he didn't come back all night yesterday.
"No need. Go back to sleep," I said.
Kayne insisted on following me. Grabbing my hand, he said, "I didn't go home all night or sleep. You don't care now, do you?"
