Breaking Off Marriage with a Disgusting Scumbag!
Chapter 3
Abbie's scheming was exposed, and her face immediately soured.
"Mona Morris, why do you speak so rudely?"
Before Abbie could speak, Matt smoothly stepped forward to shield her.
It seemed like I was a beast that eats people, bullying the little white rabbit behind him.
If it were in the past, I might explain for myself, but now, I didn't want to deal with them at all.
If he thought my words were harsh, then so be it. I was tired.
I didn't say anything, but when I turned around to leave, Matt suddenly said, "Mona, you..."
His words were interrupted by Addie.
"Matt, it seems that Mona is angry. Her eyes seem swollen from crying. Is she blaming me for not letting you go back that night? Why don't you go and console her?"
Her words made others think that she was considerate.
But I sneered, closed my eyes, and continued walking forward without stopping.
Perhaps Matt was also taken aback. This was the first time I had ignored him without causing a scene or paying attention to him.
Matt left Abbie and ran over to catch up with me.
"Why haven't you messaged me for so many days? How is Grandma? Is she feeling better?" Matt gazed at me with affection.
But I thought that he was ridiculous.
It had been about two weeks since Grandma passed away. If he tried to message me, he would find that I had already blocked him, but he didn't notice that.
I guessed that the message about breaking up I sent, he didn't even read it.
He agreed to drive Grandma to the hospital but didn't keep his word. On that stormy day, Grandma's treatment was severely delayed and she passed away.
I didn't blame Matt, I only blamed myself.
I blamed myself for being so foolish to believe that Matt would really come to help me.
I blamed myself for being so stupid to give all my savings to Matt for treatment that I got nothing but betrayal in the end.
