Boyfriend gives 500 monthly, I'm a 5m-in-debt gold-digger.

During my internship in college, due to the special nature of my position, I did not receive any salary but instead had to pay an academic placement fee to the company.

It was my CEO boyfriend who, against all odds, arranged a small apartment for me and threatened to give me $500 a month for living expenses.

My colleagues all envied my good fortune, so I worked even harder.

Until Damien Blackwood went on a business trip and I had appendicitis while working overtime and was sent to the hospital.

As soon as I got off the ambulance, I saw him and a woman, naked, being sent to the emergency room.

I thought I was hallucinating because of the pain and didn't think much about it.

But when I came back to the company after being discharged from the hospital, he threw a miscarriage notice in my face:

"Scarlett Rossi, how can you be so shameless? I provide you with food and shelter, but you are not satisfied and you cheat on me?"

"Do you think I don't give you enough money, or do you think I don't give you enough love?"

Looking at the familiar face of the woman next to him looking down on me, I instantly realized that he was cheating on me and was trying to turn the tables on me.

I told him frankly that I had an appendectomy and I didn't hide it from him because I was afraid that he would feel sorry for me and implicate my colleagues who were working overtime with me.

But he showed me pictures of me fooling around with other men, wanted to break up with me, and asked me to pay him 5 million in emotional damages compensation for the past three years.

I generously transferred $500 to him and said sarcastically:

"Then break up. This $500 is my share of the money for you two dogs!"

He thought I was going to default on my debt, so he angrily hired a top lawyer to settle the score with me.

After checking the accounts, his face turned green.

"Scarlett, who are you calling a bastard? You cheated on me and you slandered me and Chloe, is that funny?"

"She's just my god-sister, can you please stop having such dirty thoughts?"

I was furious when I found out he had betrayed me.

He also asked for too much from me, and I couldn't stand it anymore:

"You and your mistress were hospitalized for emergency treatment. I was too lazy to point it out. If you want to break up, just be generous. I won't pester you. But you came and blamed me and asked me to pay 5 million. I didn't call the police and accuse you of blackmail. It's all good!"

"I haven't moved into the small apartment you arranged for me yet. We have been sharing the expenses in our relationship for all these years. You threatened to give me living expenses but it was just talk. If you insist on quarreling with me, then I won't save face for you!"

He was so furious that he simply didn't believe that he hadn't spent any money on me.

He took out his phone, opened the bank app, and read out the monthly expenses one by one:

"Let's not even count the fact that I saved your life. Just look at what you bought with my card during our relationship. In the past six months, you've been sucking half a million dollars from me every month like a vampire! You won't stop until you've used up all your credit limit!"

"Do you really think I wouldn't notice every time you use the credit limit?"

"We've been together for three years, and I've been so sincere to you, but you won't even let me kiss you on the mouth. I thought you were innocent, but it was all fake! How much money did someone give you to get you pregnant?"

Without waiting for my rebuttal, he switched on the printer, printed out the bills for the past six months and circulated them among his subordinates.

After reading it, they all gasped and looked at me in disbelief:

"Scarlett, your spending power is comparable to that of a money-eating beast!"

I grabbed the bill, took a quick look, and pointed at the two latest amounts.

"I did spend these two $199, but I gave you $500 in cash last month. The rest has nothing to do with me."

Seeing that I didn't admit it, Damien looked at me with a sneer as if he had heard a big joke:

"Scarlett, I didn't expect you to be this kind of person. The card is in your hand, and the items are all high-end luxury items for women. I have already called the bank to consult, and the signature is all your name. How dare you do it and not admit it?"
