Bhabhi means Sister-in-Law (brother's wife).

Bhai means brother.

Sasu Mom means "Mother-in-Law,"

Sasurji means "Father-in-Law."

"She can't be my wife" and " he can't be my husband" we both shouted in unison.

"What?" our parents looked shocked.

"I think there's a misunderstanding, Mom and Dad; he can't be my husband," I told my parents.

"Yes, mom and dad, I think there is some misunderstanding. "She can't be my wife," he said to his parents.

"Myra, what are you saying?" "Are you insane? He's your future husband, Zain Kapoor," mom said sternly, trying to make me understand.

"Zain, are you upset or what?" Jayant's uncle asked.

"Yes bhabhi, he is your to-be husband and my brother," Diya said to me.

Oh my God, what is happening to me? Am I really engaged to him? No, no, I want to go home. I need some rest. I can't take this shit anymore.. at least not right now!

"Mom, I want to go home," I said, looking at home.

"You can't go right now, doll," mom said.

"Yes, because it's your and Zain's official engagement in front of the world." I was stunned and rooted to my seat while listening to Nevika Aunty.

"Whaa.. whatt?" I think I heard something wrong.

"Mom," I said, and she simply nodded.

I held mom's hand and dragged her with me to the other corner. "Mom, what is happening?" I asked her.

"It's your engagement," Mom said, and I looked at her blankly.

"Mom, are you fucking out of your mind?" I was so frustrated.

"Watch your tongue, doll," she said sternly.

"What's on your tongue, huh? I just trapped by you.. you fucking trapped me.. Idk why I came here in the first place," I said angrily. "

"What's the harm in doing an engagement with him?" Mom asked.

"You both are already bound and now we are doing this just to show the world what's wrong with that," she said so casually, like nothing happened.

"Mom, what about me? Do I not deserve to make any decision for myself? " I asked.

It's not like that. Why are you saying this? " Mom said, about to wipe my tears away, but I stopped her by showing my palm.

"Princess," I said as I turned to face Dad.

"Dad, what is happening here?" "Why are you all doing this with me?" I asked, holding his hand.

"Princess, it's just an engagement," Dad said calmly.

We are already engaged, right? Now why this engagement thing? " I asked him, wiping my tears harshly.

"Please do it, princess," dad said.

I walked away, wiping away my tears.

Zain's pov...

"What's going on, Mom and Dad?" I asked mom and dad. I am still shocked that she is my wife.

"Just to make this relationship official, what is wrong with that?" his dad replied.

"It's my engagement, and you haven't told me anything; wow, like wow." I clapped my hands. I am so fucking angry right now.

"What's wrong with that, Zain?" "You two are already bound, and we're just doing it to show the world that you're already engaged," my mother explained.

If you both already decided everything right, then why the hell am I wasting my time? Fine, then do anything you want! "  I walked away after saying this angrily.

Right now, I feel like I'm the centre of attention... oohh damnn It's my engagement, my fucking engagement to my to-be wife, Myra. I still can't believe that she is the same girl with whom I fought on the very first day.

Anyways, where is my so-called wife...? Ohh, there she is walking towards us with her parents and brother.

While Dad announced my engagement to everyone... while I forced a smile...

Why is she not shouting right now as she stands in front of me, looking down? I mean, she always shouts whenever she sees me!! Anyway, leave it.

Mom sends me a ring.

I took it from her while my wife stood still. When her mom nudged her, she extended her left hand and I slipped the ring on her ring finger. Unknowingly, I shivered when my hand touched hers, and I don't know why.

Myra's POV..

Engagement? My fucking engagement! Wow, just wow. I want to bang my head on the wall. I can't believe that I am married to that arrogant a**.

"Myra"  mom poked my shoulder, and I flashed her a tight-lipped smile and put my hand forward and he slipped the diamond ring on my ring finger.

Myr'a Reddy, just run,' My mind screamed.

Myra, take this," Mom says, as she hands me a ring.

I took the ring from her and he thrust his left hand forward arrogantly. I so wanted to thrust this ring into his mouth. I made him wear the ring and shivered unknowingly when my hand came into contact with his.

Everyone clapped their hands, and I stood there, forcing a smile on my beautiful face.

Dad popped the bottle of champagne, opened it and made us drink it. Why this formality?

I am so fed up with all this!
