Billionaire's Ghost Wife

Krish noticed that his car was not moving for few minutes, only then he raised his head from his PC and found himself stuck in the traffic. He opened the seat window to get the fresh air, meanwhile, a girl of not more than ten years, knocked, holding flowers in her hands.

“ Sir, I have fresh flowers from my nursery, pick one of them, your wife would be happy to see it, they are very cheap, sir do you want to buy one? ” she asked with a smile, showing two dimples at her cheeks while the driver scolded,

“ Hey kid, move away from the car. Mr. Goenka is not married yet, go and sell it to someone else, ”

After hearing it, the smile on her face faded away and she turned to leave with a disappointed face, however, she stopped by hearing a magnetic yet calm voice

“ Wait.. ”

She immediately turned back, saying, “ Sir, do you want to buy one? ”

“ Yes, give me the red roses” he replied while showing notes to her. She didn't take time in grabbing the note and handing over the roses to him.

After safely keeping her notes to her little purse, she sneered at the driver, while pouting, “ See, you don't know your boss well, he already has someone in his heart.. ”

“ You.. Little rascal.. ”

he bit his lips while the girl ran away after teasing him. Krish curled up his lips into a smile while brushing the petals of the flower with his gentle hands.

After the carriage stopped in front of the apartment, the guards followed him until he entered through the main door. He was pacing towards his room, suddenly he remembered that he was holding roses in his hand, after giving few thoughts to his mind, he walked up to the room beside his, that was supposed to be Abha's room.

He elegantly walked into her room, hesitating after each step, however, her room was empty. He checked her bathroom, she wasn't there, then the balcony, she wasn't there either. He then rubbed his forehead and then get back to the first floor and walked up to the kitchen.

He saw the back figure of a woman washing dishes in the basin.

‘ Hahh, it's just a flower, Krish, you can do it.. ’

he sighed as he walked to her. Maybe the woman was so much into her work that she didn't listen to his footstep.

“ Er.. I was saying that I, I bought this flower for you, do you... ? ”

“ Ahhhhhhhh.... ”

“ Ahhhh..... Who are you?”

The woman cried so loudly after seeing a strange man behind him so that he too couldn't help screaming.

“ I, I'm so sorry, Mr. Goenka, I, I was horrified after seeing you all of a sudden,” she apologized, however, he was still in a daze.

What was this woman doing in his home and his kitchen? Where was his wife?

“ Who are you? And where is the owner of this home?” he asked with a darkened face.

“ Aren't you the owner of the apartment? ” she asked while rubbing her hair, he sighed and then asked,

“ I mean where is the lady who takes care of it?” he asked.

“ Ohh.. you mean that lady who appointed me here? ” she asked while he raised his eyebrows, he was still confused about what the hell was going on there?

“ A lady offered me a job to take care of it and prepare the lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, ” she added while he frowned.

“ Where is the lady who appointed you? ” he asked excitedly while she said,

“ She left ”

“ What!!! Where did she go? Did she tell you anything? ” he asked impatiently while the girl looked at him with confused eyes.

“ She didn't tell me anything, wasn't she a maid? ”

she asked as she was so much confused after seeing the worried expression on his master's face after knowing that his maid left.

“ OH FUCK.. ”

he murmured and then rushed back to her room.
