As You Wish, I Am Leaving

I didn’t want to hear about her and Jamie’s affair. I raised my foot to leave, but she grabbed my wrist.

Lane looked at me sarcastically. “Why can’t you listen to it anymore? You have shameful thoughts about your uncle, who raised you. Georgia, you are really cheap. Do you think if Jamie knew your thoughts, he would be disgusted and never want to see you again?”

I was deeply hurt by her words. Thinking of what Jamie said just now, he would definitely hate me if he knew. I staggered and almost fell.

“Let go.”

Lane suddenly sneered and threw the cup in my hand to the ground, then she screamed and fell to the ground and her wrist was just cut by the broken glass.

Before I thought about what tricks she was going to play, Jamie came in a hurry in pajamas.

He gently helped Lane up. “Are you okay? Your wrist is broken?”

Lane sobbed and said with a wronged look, “Don’t blame Georgia. She just couldn’t accept me for a while and pushed me in anger. I believe she didn’t mean it.”

Jamie suppressed his anger and looked at me, his face full of disappointment.

“Georgia, you are already an adult. Why are you still acting like a child? Apologize to Lane.”

A wave of grievance surged in my heart and I looked at him stubbornly. “I did nothing wrong. I won’t apologize.”

Lane said in a teasing tone, “Jamie, just think that I accidentally fell. Don’t blame Georgia. After all, she has been with you for so long. You scolded her because of me. She…”

Before she finished speaking, she was interrupted by Jamie’s cold voice. “I just adopted her for the sake of her dead parents. How can you really think of yourself as the eldest daughter of the Harding Family? Apologize to me now.”

Jamie’s angry eyes fell on me, as if he wanted to torture me to death. Seeing that I didn’t speak, he grabbed my wrist and asked me, “Do you know you are wrong?”

I looked up and stared at him closely. “I am not wrong.”

Jamie angrily threw me hard and my gravity was unstable and my stomach hit the corner of the table heavily and fell to the ground.

My stomach instantly felt like a knife was twisting and my body trembled.

I looked up at Jamie. “It hurts so much; help me.”

Jamie saw this and his eyes flashed with helplessness and heartache. “Georgia, what’s wrong with you?”

When he approached me, Lane said with a painful expression, “Jamie, my wrist hurts so much.”

Jamie stopped and quickly picked up Lane. “I’ll take you to the hospital.”

Lane smiled proudly at me in Jamie’s arms.

My lower body suddenly spasmed and a warm flow of blood flowed out.

When I was sent to the operating room, the doctor said regretfully, “The child can no longer be saved.”

Tears fell unconsciously from the corners of my eyes. It turned out that I had Jamie’s child that night.

It was just that I lost him before he came to this world.

But it was okay. If Jamie knew, he would definitely hate me even more and think that I was a shameless woman.

It was his luck that an unexpected child was gone.

After the operation, I dragged my heavy body home. The villa was quiet. Jamie really didn’t come back.

I fell asleep in bed. I didn’t know how long I slept. I was pulled up by a strong force.

I opened my eyes, it was Jamie. He was sweating, his chest kept rising and falling, as if he had just finished a marathon, his eyes were full of familiar worry.

“Why don’t you answer the phone at home? Are you deliberately making me worry and asking me to come back? Georgia, you are not young anymore. Can you stop playing such childish tricks? As long as you can recognize your identity and abide by the law, I will not ignore you even if I marry a wife.”
