An Unfilial Son and Unkind Mother Chapter 1

My son Kane Foster committed telecom fraud and accidentally leading to the deaths of three prospective college students.

When the police came to arrest him, he yelled that he was forced to do so because I failed to give him a rich life.

There were hundreds of victims in the court, and Kane encouraged them to seek revenge against me.

Eventually, I was beaten to death by the victims' families.

When I was reborn, it was the time that Kane had lost the class fund and his teacher called me.

I called the police directly. Everyone was surprised and Kane seethed with resentment.

He shouted, "Mom, it's because you're incompetent and our family is so poor that they look down on me!"

"Why are you still in a daze? Your son has been slandered for stealing money!"

"Damn, how could I be so unlucky to have a mother like you?"

As the familiar accusations resounded, I recalled my rebirth.

Now, my son, a high school vice president, lost class funds totaling 4,200 dollars.

The whole class tried very hard to look for it but still couldn't find it. In order to give an explanation to the whole class, the teacher asked me to school.

This action hurt Kane's self-esteem, and before I could figure out the whole story, he scolded me.

Looking at Kane's hostility and disgust towards me and listening to irrelevant classmates and teachers defending me, I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Your son's bullied, and you find it funny?"

Hearing this, I sneered at him mercilessly, "Don't be so sensitive. No one here belittles you except yourself."

Kane immediately enraged. He kicked over the table, rolled up his sleeves and wanted to hit me, but was stopped by someone.

Observing his fury, I was convinced he'd stolen the class funds.

In my previous life, the teacher showed me surveillance footage. There was a strong suspicion that Kane had stolen money.

I didn't want Kane to have a criminal record, so I knelt before the teacher. He just asked me to pay the class funds back.

Kane's expenses were too high. Even if I worked three jobs, it was still not enough. I could only advance the next month's salary and then took on another job to maintain a balance between income and expenditure.

On the contrary, he observed my weary, chuckling at my incompetence while trying to appear rich in the game.

Now, the compassionate classmates and the teacher were busy coaxing Kane and explaining things to me.

"We are simply investigating the situation. We didn't mean to misunderstand you."

I nodded in agreement, fully trusting their words.

I said, "Just call the police. There are surveillance cameras in the classrooms, corridors and offices anyway. If someone really stole the money, I advise the teacher to take decisive action."

Seeing Kane's nervousness, I smiled and said, "Even if Kane did this, he should be punished. I will never cover it up."

Kane grew anxious, his eyes darting around, sweat beading on his forehead.

He probably didn't expect that I wouldn't speak up for him.

Under desperation, he cried out about a stomach ache and even rolled on the ground holding his stomach. His teacher and classmates became worried about him.

After taking medication, he urgently requested to use the restroom.

Soon after, in a surprisingly smooth turn of events, Kane found the class funds in the restroom and said that there was no need to call the police.

The reactions of his classmates shifted upon witnessing this, and his teacher's disappointment was palpable.

He had no idea how poor his acting was. I thought the isolation he feared the most would happen to him again.
