Alpha's cursed mate

The full moon which hasn't appeared in last nineteen year seemed to display it's glory in it's incomplete form... suddenly it's glow dimmed, the blackness previously covering a part seemed to seep to it's other half.

Selene's heart thrummed in her chest, the note of rejection ringing in her ears....she shouldn't have done that, should not have left Persephone alive.

A bright light glimmered above her drawing all her energy and glow from her skin making her turn into the beastly form which she was damned with years ago.

Punishment of her devious deed..the reminiscent of past..the same bond given by her to Persephone seemed to open it's knots... the red one separating from the shining golden.

Adrian ripped off from Persephone.

The red bond burned into fumes as the eyes of the moon goddess widened- Death.... Adrian will die soon.

The golden one mingled with the silver thread from which it was seperated- the original bond.

A dark black rose engulfed with silver thorns replaced the bond which disappeared in sky, it's glitter like essence sprinkled on the rose then falling in Selene's palm ..a drop of liquid gushing out from her finger pierced by the thorn- Blood......

If she is going to die Persephone would die too.

Gasps could be heard throughout the ceremony. The elders trembled with rage as Alpha Adrian's eyes widened.

He couldn't believe the girl had that in her....so much courage, his wolf howled with pain , they knew....he knew that he was always destined to be mateless but seeing her standing in the field of roses that day when Mason growled "Mate"....he couldn't be happier.... a female made for him.

She was a rare beauty but right now the girl standing in front of him was a hollow vessel, her eyes were blank, their usual brightness long gone replaced with disgust.

He didn't regretted having sex with another, if she couldn't state his hunger someone else will. His fists clenched....that bitch rejected him for such a petty cause.

"Persephone Rya, I, Alpha Adrian punish your crime for disrespecting and hurting your Alpha and Mate and Rejecting the bond by death. You shall be burned alive."

She closed her eyes with a sharp intake of breath. Opening it just to observe the men creating a circle of fire around her. She met their stare, sweeping a single glance across every one and no one in particular.

They didn't have any regrets, neither came forward, no one opposed...cowards because of whom the children suffered throughout their lives.....now she understood why these werewolves couldn't have children.....they were monstors....they didn't wanted that burden.

"You all will die,

They had to face her Wrath

That bone chilling voice got grave at the end, the calmness was haunting, people watched wide eyed as it dawned on the elders- the oath of blood, Adrian's legs shook with the impact.

She shall rise, she will kill, she will massacre each one of them and the most bitter death would be his.

The course of wind changed, red flames reaching high above stared swirling furiously without touching their prey, black fumes rose like a whirlwind converting the flames to black ice crystals.

Persephone's face remained calm just as her heart like it was something that her soul was waiting for centuries and at last the anticipation was over.

The almighty race of werewolves were forced on their knees by an invisible force. Only one remain raised on her feet, her head high.. Persephone

Their knees scraped as their heads bowed down to the ferocious mystery.

Adrian's hand trembled as indecipherable fear settled in his heart- the trepidation and terror of unknown.

The omnipotent moon darkened to onyx- the fury of the power seemed to diminish it's courage.

Hail King Hades

His masculine built emerged from smoke breaking the black ice. Just a flick of his fingers and the werewolves rose their head.

Letting them watch the beginning of their end.

His eyes met Persephone... that goddess, the bluestone sapphire eyes sparkling with unfathomable mirth.

Dark brown hair with voluminous curls seems to call out to him for tracing his hands in them.

Those full cherry red lips called out to him...perfection...she was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on..How can someone so pure be his- the ruler of darkness.

He watched her with utter affection just as she traced his form with her doe eyes.

Those grey eyes seemed to sparkle like thousand suns. The starry night sky emersed, bathing in them.

Dark lush locks like bronze seem to be sprawled on his forehead, that jaw...so sharp so beautiful...he was looking like wine...so addictive.

She would die and sell her soul if that offered a glance at him. She gulped his presence like she was thristy for it living so long without him.

His crimson lips parted for only one word to leave which shattered her, her trance long forgotten and trust gone.
