Maya POV.

What was Monalisa doing back at home?

She was supposed to be with her mother.

Mr. Jonah quickly stepped back from me and tugged his dick into his pants as he re-dressed.

His hard dick still bulged in his pants, so he went to take a seat at his desk.

"Sign the form," he said, and held out the pen.

A smug smile parted my lips as I rose to my feet.

Even though he wasn't saying, I knew he enjoyed the blowjob.

Taking the pen, I signed the form and returned it to him.

He quickly stuffed it in his drawer, "Text me your email address and I'll send a scanned copy to you."

I nodded.

"Since you'll be leaving next tomorrow. I think tomorrow night is an ideal time for us, I'll text you the address of where to come."

He had just finished speaking when Monalisa breezed into the office, "I heard that Dad, where are we going?"

"Nowhere," I said awkwardly, rubbing my neck.

"C'mon girl, tell me. I clearly heard my dad say he would text you an address," Mona blinked at me expectantly. "Is it a surprise? Are we going to the movies?"

My eyes darted as I tried to come up with a reasonable lie. I couldn't possibly tell her it was an appointment for sex.

"I have a case tomorrow evening, so I wanted her to meet me at the venue, so we could go over to her house to inspect the circuit box with a technician. You know her parents are due to come in soon," He quickly provided an explanation.

"Duhh" Mona rolled her eyes, "And I thought we were going to the movies," she shrugged, "Anyway, isn't it easier to just meet her up at the house?"

Oops.

She was right.

It was easier for me to wait at my house than go over to meet him at court.

There was a moment of awkward silence in the room.

Crickets.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

"Whatever," Mona shrugged. "I won't be home tomorrow. I'm going to spend the night at Mum's house after school."

Oh really, my eyebrow perked up.

"I'm sorry you can't come with me, Maya. My mum's fighting with her husband, so it might not be a good time to bring a friend along," she apologized.

I opened my mouth to say it's fine and I didn't want to tag along, but her dad interjected;

"If their fighting, you shouldn't be going over to their house either," Mr. Jonah scolded.

"Chill, Dad, you know Mr. Paul likes me," she countered. "I believe that's precisely the reason mum wants me over, so they could make up."

I smiled at my friend, she was smart.

Mr. Jonah must be proud to have such an understanding daughter.

I knew I was glad to have her as my friend, that was why I would never breathe a word of my personal business with her father to her.

It was going to be my little secret.

Later that night.

Monalisa and I lay awake in her room, studying.

We wanted to leave this small conservative corner of Salt Lake City, Utah, and move to Las Vegas. A bustling city with a lot of possibilities.

College was our exit plan.

Mr. Jonah had no idea that his daughter was applying away from home. He kept advising her to apply to the University of Utah or any other universities in the neighboring towns close to home.

He had no idea that our sights were set on the far city of Vegas.

And we planned to settle there after school. It was goodbye to Utah once we left.

"Hey, Maya," Mona said, closing her book, "Can we talk a little before we continue?"

"Sure," I agreed and pushed my book aside, plopping my head up on my elbow.

"Are you still a virgin?" She asked.

"Yes," I nodded, though not for long if tomorrow went according to plan.

Her face fell, "I shouldn't have slept with Tommy. I should have waited and done it with someone else."

I frowned, "Why, I thought you said you liked Tommy."

Her eyes moistened with tears and she swiped at a drop that slipped out. "I found out that he made a bet with his friends that he was going to sleep with me since I was playing hard to get."

"Oh, Mona," I scooched closer and put my arms around her.

Why did they see sex as something they took from a girl?

It was a mutual act, between two people.

Why did they treat it as a price just to make the female feel bad?

"Don't cry, Mona. He's not worth your tears. Just see it as a hazing ritual, ushering you into adulthood."

"We were right to wait till we turned eighteen," she sniffled. "I wish I had waited more, till I went off to college."

"They'll be assholes everywhere, just pick someone with some common-sense next time," I soothed her.

That was why I was picking her father because he was someone I trusted, and I felt safe with him.

"I'm sorry, Mona," I apologized, feeling a tinge of guilt.

"What for?" She asked.

"If you ever get to know any 'BS' of mine in the future, just know I apologized to you already."
