Chapter 3

When I recalled this, I told Alice that I wanted to go with them. I hadn't hung out with my roommates for a long time.

Alice was stunned after hearing this, but she didn't give up and said, "Didn't you say that you had something important to do?"

"Well, the relationship between classmates is still very important."

I wanted to get closer to my roommate, Jessica, but she immediately avoided me.

I remembered now, in the eyes of my roommates, I was very likely to have a contagious disease.

I went up to hold Alice's arm, pretending to be intimate with her.

Alice didn't know how to react for a moment. Her whole body froze.

I laughed secretly. I just played a prank, but she already couldn't handle it.

When we arrived at the store, the clerk saw Alice and immediately sent other customers away with a smile, allowing us to buy first.

As soon as we arrived at the store, they all walked around and looked at the various bags and accessories excitedly, except Alice.

Alice looked at me nervously, but I pretended nothing had happened and went to look at clothes.

But Jessica quickly pulled Alice away and said, "Alice, I see there's a dress over there that matches your elegant appearance."

I sneered when I heard this.

When Jessica saw me touching the clothes, she immediately became unhappy and called the sales arrogantly, "Hey! Don't let those shady people try on clothes. She might have infectious diseases. Besides, she has no money! Don't be fooled by her nice clothes. They were all given to her by her customers."

The store manager quickly came towards me, with a disdainful look. She said, "Miss, if you don't want to buy anything, please don't touch it."

Alice pretended not to hear. I guessed she also hoped that I would be kicked out by the sales.

In the past, I bought this brand in another store. Their staff would bring the latest products to our house for my mother and me to try, so I didn't know that the attitude of the sales in the store would be so bad.

I didn't bother to argue with her. I just sat in the lounge area and waited to watch the show.

"Hey! Why are you sitting here? How can others sit here after you do?" Jessica still refused to give in.

Then I stood up. I would just wait and see how they would end this.

Soon they had picked out all the clothes they liked together and waited for Alice to pay.

Alice held her head high and paid with my card with ease, and they all praised how generous Alice was.

Everyone praised Alice as if she was the one who came to save all living beings.

They hurriedly grabbed their things and turned around to leave after Alice paid for them.

I would also be willing to praise her in exchange for something from a luxury brand.

But the store manager stopped them all and said awkwardly, "I'm sorry, Ms. Moran, your card has been frozen."

Alice was stunned when she heard this. Everyone was anxiously asking what was going on. They thought there might be something wrong with the machine.

The store manager panicked and hurriedly explained, "This has never happened before."

Alice's face turned red and she looked at me for help, but I pretended not to see it but just stood aside and waited for them quietly.

After all, she didn't help me when they said I was a prostitute.

Alice said she wanted to call the bank, and Jessica immediately came out to maintain order and asked everyone to be quiet.
